The food was delicious! This was our third visit and the best yet.

I stayed at the Chattanoogan with my family and we had the most amazing experience at their restaurant called Forge! It was very quiet and we got to talk a lot with a chef Jason who cooked us the MOST delicious meals, not one but TWO meals that were out of this world. When you can make green beans taste phenomenal that is truly a gift. The flavors, juiciness, tender meat, exquisite cheeses on the chef’s board, I could go on and on.

Came in very hungry and sat in the bar area. It was busy but not overly packed. Took the bartender 10 minutes to get to our table for the drink order. Should have walked to a place down the street, but we were tired after a long day. Took 15 more min to get our beers and wine. Ordered a charcuterie board and 3 bison burgers. 30 min go by and we wave down the bartender, “sorry, the kitchen is way behind, a bunch of people ordered at once”. There were maybe 10 people in the restaurant and 7 at the bar. Charcuterie board comes out 5 min later and it is the saddest looking tray. We got 6 pieces of two different meats, 2 cheeses (supposed to be 3), 3 small pieces of sourdough, 2 small jars of olives and pickled onions, no stone mustard (advertised with mustard), $32. Burgers arrive 10 min later, had to ask the food delivery girl for more water, bartender was no where to be found and the burgers were overcooked (we ordered medium, they were well done) and over salted. $26 for a terrible burger. Waited almost 90 min for overpriced bad food and service. Great hotel, go eat some where else. We spent $112.00. We stayed in the hotel 2 days and refused to eat there again.

I ordered the chicken dish that was the recipe of the Owner's grandmother, using pumpkin in the broth. It was excellent.

We had reservations at 6 pm and were the only ones there. Then, one other table came in. This was on a Saturday night, so probably reservations aren't needed. Everything was good. Nothing outstanding, but good.

Food is creative but averagely executed. Everyone at agreed the Mac and cheese was the best thing in the table and it was just a side. Pepper jam toast and fried okra were great. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Venison was well executed but average. Chicken average. The Wild Boar Oso Bucco was over cooked and dry. Not an entree I came even close to finishing. Unicorn grits were bland and tasteless. Drinks were well balanced except the peach one which was so overpoweringly sweet and peach neither of us drank it. $50 on four drinks and two were left most untouched. Desert was lemon cake which was dry and heavy only saved because it was deconstructed with a lemon curd, cream, and berries to balance its heavy dryness. Our friends enjoyed their chocolate cake. Service was ok but clearly stretched. One bartender in charge of the whole restaurant plus the bar. Two tables and maybe six or eight bar customers. Ambiance is wonderful. It’s a beautiful place. They clearly invested heavily in it but have lacked follow through once it’s open . The chef was pleasant and visited our table a couple of times. Apologized for the noise from deep cleaning the kitchen area he and one other kitchen employed were making. Noise was fine but seemed the cleaning was the priority and the food was a side job. It was a Friday night and they were dead. Desperately in need of advertising and enough customers to keep the focus on the food. Overall, really really overpriced. 2 people - four drinks, 2 entree, 1 desert was $192 with tip. The food did not warrant the fee. Bridgemans or Henens consistently put our better food with excellent service and great atmosphere for less money. We won’t likely return unless they do a major overhaul on their prices and staff adequately.

Very good, but i found the price a bit high for what it was. not a ton of choices, nevertheless it was tasty

Restaurant interior was a bit dark for brunch. Decor was cool. It was a pricey Mother’s Day brunch buffet, but the food was mediocre. Limited ingredients at the omelette station, standard cold cuts, limited dessert options, salsa bar was very limited and quality of food was middle to low.

Mother’s Day

Plastic in the broccoli and there was no manger, no server. 20 minutes before we got a service and I had to go find them. Overall it was terrible and very expensive..
