Well the cakes are really delicious, not sure why I got the looks that I received upon entering. I called in an order as I was walking up to the door the workers are all looking @ me as if what am I doing here or they know me, this is my first visit here. People even came from the back to see me, everyone seemed to relax when I said I’m here to pick up my order ?
My husband bought a cake from here for my birthday a couple of days ago. Omg it’s the best birthday cake I’ve had in a long time. Love the almond flavoring in the white cake! And can’t say enough good things about the buttercream. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!
We get all our birthday cakes here for our kids parties and they are always great. They are very creative and do an amazing job and they always taste as good as they look. The icing and cakes are the best.
My friend lives in the area. She brought this cake with her on one of her visits. This was probably the best cake hands down I've ever eaten! I definitely will be by for a slice next time I'm in town

Federal bake shop did my wedding cake back in March and did an amazing job! They also offer delivery so they delivered my cake to my venue and it was absolutely perfect. They were amazing from the beginning, we got to taste all the different flavors before deciding on a cake (I was a little indecisive) and My husband and I chose strawberry for our flavor and I highly recommend it!! I look forward to getting to enjoy it again on our 1 year anniversary ?Also I highly recommend stopping in and getting their thumbprint cookies, they are the BEST and are perfect for parties or just snacking in general.
I have been ordering cakes, cookies, cupcakes from Federal Bake Shop for over 32 years and they never cease to amaze me with their cakes. This was moist delicious and we were so happy with how it all turned out for my daughter’s baby shower. I highly recommend them we have never been disappointed with anything we have gotten from them. A great family owned business.
I have to say federal bake shop out did themselves! This was my wedding cake 12/06/2020. Not only did it taste amazing, it was the most beautiful cake! I didn’t want real flowers or fondant on my cake and they just nailed it! And the glitter sprinkles they suggested was the perfect thing! I loved everything about my cake! 10/10 would recommend for weddings or any cake! It was an amazing price too! They honestly should charge more for them!
The absolute best cakes in the Chattanooga area! Always fresh and made exactly as ordered. They did our wedding cake 20 years ago and are the 'go to' bakery for all our special occasions (including the 'I survived the week' cupcake on Fridays). Can't go wrong, no matter what your craving is!
Federal Bake Shop is our go to bakery for birthday cakes. My husband’s only request each year is their vanilla/almond cake with buttercream icing. This year we decided to try a custom decorated mermaid cake for my daughter’s birthday. It was chocolate with buttercream icing and just as tasty as it was beautiful. Highly recommend!
