We ordered a ice cream cake for a party we are having tomorrow on April the 3rd. We went to pick the cake up today and we had to wait because they said the ice cream had to set, we gave them a 4-day notice. The icing was supposed to spell out happy birthday Mary in pink, it was yellow, which won't go with an decorations at the party but we needed the cake so we paid $37 for a cake that was not exactly what we ordered, you think if they was going to charge that much for a ice cream cake they would make sure they did a better job with the decorating.
My husband ordered me a blizzard cake from dairy queen on Monday (for my bday 3.17?) This is really what they gave me and looked me in my face and said it will look different when you cut into the cake it was 34.99 (my husband ordered an 8" cake) Ma'am I need a refund PLEASE!!!! I HAVE ORDERED SEVERAL CAKES and none of them have looked like this The girl in the window gave me my the ticket / order form some guy named AUSTIN is the one who took the order this was so pathetic this was my 30th bday an they dropped the ball big time. The girl AT the window had an attitude and told the other lady name Mamie or NANNIE to refund me before she got mad an threw the car that was behind me ice cream in the trash I HOPE THE MANAGER LOOKS AT THE TAPE I HOPE THIS ENTIRE ORDEAL WAS RECORDED BECAUSE SHE WAS VERY RUDE ....I ended up going to Walmart and got an oreo cake out of their freezer for $15 ,
Only the drive thru was open tonight, overall good service although the employee we interacted with seemed quite busy. They do offer delivery with DoorDash.
I pulled in around 8:45pm on a weekday just to see their hrs of operation, since all their main lights (lobby, outdoor sign, menu, everything) were off.I saw a cluster of young women in the door laughing and talking, so I called out to ask when they closed, and they told me they close at 10.Seeing that the lobby was closed, I pulled into the drive-thru and made my order. There was an older lady running the window who politely took my order, and got my food out to me in a timely manner. The food, however, was shocking, for the $15 I paid for it. I got a 6pc chicken tender basket with a blizzard and water. The fries were cold, dry, and tasted slightly bitter, like they had been out for well over an hr. My second impression was the sip of water I took, that tasted like remarkably strong tap water--like the way basic toilet water smells, but in flavor. I instantly washed it down with some of the blizzard, which was about the only good thing about this meal. The chicken tenders were warm, but they were, well, just basic chicken tenders, and more on the dry end. I could have saved so much money just going to Walmart and microwaving some of the generic frozen tenders I get there.I realize this is "fast food" and all, but if I pay $15 for a combo meal, I expect it to taste better than reheated McDonalds. I can't afford to go out all the time, so it was honestly the biggest buzzkill for this to be my dinner. My bf says it almost seems like they turned out all the lights on purpose to keep people away, so they can hang out for the whole last hour or two of the night, and just use up whatever food they had from the day if anyone came to order. As frustrated as I am right now, I want to agree with him.Absolutely never coming here again.
Came through on Veterans Day and saw that the door was locked. Door Dash driver started to turn around too but I told him he could most likely get in for deliveries. Once team member came to open the door I took the opportunity to step in just to ask what they were offering veterans. Before I could say anything a girl runs out to meet me in the lobby to yell/snarl at me in a nasty rude tone that the lobby was closed. That was pretty obvious since the door had to be opened. DUH. I just had a question. I wasnt gonna wait in the long line to just ask. When I turned around I could see staring. gestures and body language between her and other team members like it was supposed to be funny or like I guess I told him. Did you seek approval of this behavior from the team members? I called back and asked for the manager and that didn't go well. Guy on the phone seemed like he was looking to hear the drama. Says that was the manager you talked to in the lobby. She gets on the phone and proceeds to argue that she didn't have an attitude. Then evidently put the phone down or hung up. Definitely needs to be let go. Has no clue how to deal with people.
I wouldn’t even give it a one star. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. I went threw the drive thru to order a ice cream cake for my dad’s birthday. They gave me the ugliest cake I have ever seen in my life. It was a bunch of colors mixed together that turned in to a brown/green color, it was horrendous to say the least. I asked it to spell “Jay” I repeated it five times and spelt it out three times. The hand me this ugly cake with the name ”Ray” on it. I politely gave them back the cake and said it was supposed to say “Jay” not “Ray.” They took the cake and asked me to pull around and they would bring it out to me. So I did, the lady brings out the cake, she wiped off the R and wrote a J however when she wiped off the R she never fixed the icing so it looked absolutely terrible. I took the cake and went inside they didn’t realize I came in and they all were talking about me. After one worker realized I was standing there with the cake everybody stopped talking. One worker came over and asked me what I wanted. I told them this cake is absolutely terrible and there’s no way I was going to serve it to my dad on his birthday. I explained how the writing looked like a two-year-old did it and their answer was “well I’m not a cake decorator I just write on them.” After I told them I wanted a refund or a new cake, what I assume would be the manager rolled her eyes and said “this girl be testing me“ I got a new cake out of the freezer and set it down for them to redecorate it and they all gave me attitude about it. I eventually got a half decent cake, however the writing was still poor. I took the cake anyway. I have never in my life been treated the way they treated me.
This dairy queen goes further down hill by the year..... not only do they hardly ever have the lights on so u can see if they are open or see the menu, but the employees don't answer the speaker for several minutes. When they do they tell you to hold on. Then several minutes later say okay order. Then u wait several more mins for ur blizzard. Like literally I'm one person. Your drive thru had ZERO ppl when I pull up. One time they had one person. To which they handed a couple icecream treats that's it. Seems like this place really needs a manager n better employees. Icecream is good tho lol
Food was pretty good though not what I remember from the past. Been eating DQ for a very, very long time. At 70 yrs old, I remember going as a kid for hot fudge sundaes!
All right so I just went the drive-thru at Dairy Queen on Gunbarrel RoadFirst off their lights is offAnd thenI ordered a Oreo blizzard a medium oneTalk Beast almost $7Then when I get itThey're almost is not any Oreos in there at all
Went through the Drive thru gentlemen at the window was rude not friendly at all . Had to drive back through because inside was closed left my blizzard off my order . I understand being short staffed but you need to treat your customers a little more courteous than he was displaying .
