Some of the best pizza I have had in TN for sure. the Detroit style is excellent if you like but so are the Neapolitan and NY style. If you like spicy peppers the Spicy Bianca is a great pie. All their sauces are made in house... Do yourself a favor and order a side of marinara to dip your crust... Then try to guess the secret ingredient ?. If the pictures are any indication I was so tempted when the pies arrived that i forgot to take a picture first! ?
We wanted a quick stop as we had just arrived in the city. A couple that we met while checking in recommended this place. They were so right. This place has super yummy food. I got a sandwich with an Arugula Salad. The salad was dressed perfectly. It was not drowning in dressing as some place tend to do. My husband & kids said the pizza was amazing.
My wife and I were staying at The Read House for a getaway and picked this place because it had good reviews and was in walking distance. I ordered the Meatball Sub and a slice of pepperoni pizza. My wife ordered a slice of pepperoni, sausage,and bacon. The pizza was awesome! Thin chewy crust made in a wood-fire oven. Perfect pizza!
I read great reviews about Community Pie, so my wife and I decided to give it a try. My wife is the pizza fanatic and she said the pizza was good not great. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, and I would say the same. Good, but not great. However, the atmosphere and customer service was excellent. Overall. I would definitely recommend you giving Community Pie a chance!
Went here for lunch with colleagues from work. They were not very busy, and the entire experience fit within our 1 hour lunch break. Something that’s cool is that they offer some pizza choices by the slice. For $8 they have a slice and a salad deal. The salad is your choice and is ample.
Came in from out of town (chicago) and had an awesome experience. The gluten free pizza is UNREAL, its fluffier than a cloud and so thick. Great flavor. Never had anything like it. The nice guy at the bar (whose name is Chance, I later found out) also comped me a drink while waiting on a to-go order that took an extra few minutes and was super polite. great food and service and a fun atmosphere too… will be back for more on this trip!
The gluten free is amazing! This is the first normal pizza crust I have had in YEARS! It is a real pizza crust, thick and fluffy! No store bought gluten free crust. It is the best I have tried! This will be my go to place! I hope they get enough love of the gluten free to eventually to a dessert or cheese stick - would order!My household got a large Italian Stallion and raved about the size for the price and the flavor!
I had the gluten free with extra cheese and pepperoni. It was a wonderful Detroit style pizza and the crust was airy and delicious. I've been diagnosed Celiac's for 18 years and tried a lot of gluten free pizza and it's my second favorite ever! I didn't catch the bartender's name but that's who we ordered through to take bake to Knoxville with us, but he was very friendly. I highly recommend So Thanks!
This was a very nice place. The staff was so nice but not extremely knowledge about what was on the menu. I think that it would help a lot if there were some pictures on the menu. I had to look up pictures of their food online. Not the best pizza but it was ok. I tried the NY style but the Detroit style looked even better. The manager was super nice. I would eat here again.
Came here my first night in Tennessee… did not regret. Will definitely make it a permanent place when I visit again. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. My little picky eater ate everything we tried. It was fantastic. The atmosphere is family friendly. You can eat inside or in the sunshine room, which is basically a covered patio area. The surrounding area is nice to explore as well. Definitely recommend.
