This shop came highly recommended, but we were left disappointed. They were out of milk, so no milkshakes. They were also out of quite a few flavors.
We went to the shop at the Incline Railroad as it was close to our Airbnb. The shop is very small and the area was really congested. You cannot take food or drinks on the Incline. The service was good, I recommend the Whiskey Carmel Cornflake Crunch!
Awesome ice cream with measured scoops not a lot and not too less , creamy and tasty
Wanted to love it. Had it on our list as a “highly recommended” spot in Chattanooga. Unfortunately, it felt overcrowded and over hyped. Ice cream quality was the same as any grocery store brand I’ve had. There were 4 employees and only 2 seemed to be working, even though lines were out the door, so seemed like it took way longer than it really needed to. They were very nice when they did get to us. Nowhere to sit or enjoy your ice cream because of the line for the….train? Prices were on the cheaper side, so that was good. I’d recommend trying elsewhere if you are looking for above-average ice cream.
I gotta say I really wanted to try their cold tea.. I payed more than $5 for their cold sweet green tea.. I was excited to try it and when I took a sip.. I was like is this water.. it had no flavor what so ever.. I was very disappointed.. please teach your staff how to make tea or don’t sell any.. maybe the icecream might me good but not the tea
Nothing very special or great about Clumpies ice cream.It was too sweet. Price was decent though.
I was so happy to find an ice cream shop that offers dairy free ice cream. They have several flavors, too. Friendly staff and delicious ice cream.
Some of the best ice cream around. Rich and creamy with great taste. We will definitely go back to treat ourselves again. Moderately priced.
We decided to try a shake before heading up the mountain on the Incline Railway. They have so many flavors and the ones we had were amazing! I highly recommend giving it a try especially if you love ice cream!
