Worst service ever. Waited 45 minutes for our drinks. 3 waters, 2 cokes. We asked for our drinks several times. They brought 3 dinners and a child's dinner out and we had to keep reminding the staff that we were missing a child's meal and 1 adult meal. The child's meal finally came after everyone was finished with their meals. It took another 15 minutes to finally get the adult meal. The 2 chicken and shrimp bowl were cold, the avocados in the bowl were brown from setting out. Our server couldn't seem to keep a thought in her head. We asked for silver ware several times. I finally got up and went to find it myself. The little machine on the table had our bill on it. It gave a choice of tip, 18%, 20%, 22%. It did not allow a " custom " tip, even though there was a button for it. I resent the fact that the 18% tip was 21.00 dollars. The server did not deserve that much tip. I understand if people are busy and highly respect servers. The restaurant was not even busy at the time we were there. My advice to Management...fix it or close it.
Great with Roger as the bartender
I can't say enough good things. First, they were operating with 2 servers. The hostess advised everyone coming in there was limited seating, and most folks that waited were very understanding. We were seated in 30 minutes. The service was outstanding. It's been months since anyone has offered to refill my drink! These folks did. The food was hot and fresh and altogether a wonderful date night.
This place is absolutely filthy. So we went in, waited for a table which wasn't a problem. We get seating and someone comes up and asks did they wipe this table down? I replied idk we just got seated here. Upon farther inspection we noticed the table wasn't wiped down. Ok cool it happens no worries there. Sat for 10 minutes before our waitress came to take our drink order, we had to repeat the order 3 times to her. It was only 4 items, water, beer, Dr pepper and a mixed drink. When we got our water and doctor pepper they came out in dirty cups. There was a weird white residue all over the inside of them. When we told the waitress she tried to argue with us about it. Saying they are clean just old and that's what happens. I pointed to the table next to us who just left and showed her how their cups didn't have it. Again whatever it happens. The final straw was when our appetizer came out on again a dirty plate. I wish I had a picture of it but I was so disgusted at this point I was done. I look over at the decorations next to us and couldn't help but notice how much food and gunk was all over where we were sitting. I worked in the restaurant business for years, I would never let my restaurant look this nasty. It needs a deep clean. Told the manager at this point I'm done and going home and won't be back. He kinda smiled and apologized.
The restaurant (Chili’s on Brainerd Rd) had very few people dining. We went in on a Sunday night with a party of seven. Four adults and three children. We were told they were only seating parties of four or less. We told the hostess we didn’t mind sitting at two tables as long as we were close to keep an eye on the kids. She replied, “Well, we can only seat the first four and then it would be a while before we could seat the next four.” We left and were seated immediately at Cheddar’s on Gunbarrel. This was our third time attempting to dine at Chili’s. The other two times, they closed before 7 pm. Strike 3! You’re out!!
The grilled chicken salad was a big disappointment. It was mostly lettuce. Very little chicken and cheese. We paid extra for avocado. The tomatoes were sad looking. For the price we paid it should've contained more food. I only gave it one star because we really liked the honey-lime dressing.
We had a great meal and Both the young lady that seated us and our waitress, Brittany, did great. The food and service were both great. Ask for Brittany, if you're seating in the dining area.
This is a nice safe little place to go to where you dont have to spend a ton to eat. The food is either good or ok quality. Depends on what you order. I recommend staying away from pasta dishes but other than that, you can't go wrong. They even have a 2 for $25 option. It's reasonable
My daughter and I were met at the door and told there was a shortage of waitresses/waiters for the day. Only two showed up for work that day. It was explained that there would be a 45-minute wait. Then asked if that was exceptable. We responded yes. The wait was 35-40 minutes, and the service was excellent! Way to go, Chilis!!
