It’s any other chain restaurant by the mall. It’s good, not unique, but good.
After trying to figure out where we were going to eat at. We decided to stop by Cheddar's in Chattanooga. From my personal opinion Cheddar's delivered everything to my expectations. The food was exceptionally well and was enjoyed by my family. I did have a bad experience once with cheddar's but that was in a different town and I said I would never try Cheddar's again but after all the years that went by I decided to actually give them one more try and must say it was an entirely way better experience not just for me but also for my family. Thanks. Would I try them again? Of course. I hope you guys enjoy
Unless you have 2 hours to sit and wait for a table? I would not go on prime time dining. We were a large party of 10, and we were told that there was no call ahead waiting. We were also told or arriving that it would be about 40 minutes. Almost 2 hours later we finally received a table and as you can see, they did not take the time to clean around our table. The food was mediocre at best, and although our waitress was very pleasant and attentive to some degree, we still wound up waiting for refills on drinks, and the overall service from the staff showed a lack of professionalism. I just don't care for the place anymore. It's not worth it, not the price, the wait, the crowd, the noise, the discomfort, etc. They got rid of the best thing on the menu and changed some other things & not for the better. None of us enjoyed our meal. The drink I ordered was disgusting, expensive and disgusting. I'd had it several times before with no issue, so I don't know they did to it, but it was a waste of my money, like everything else I ordered, except for the red beans and rice, they were actually good & the only thing I liked about the entire visit other than finally getting to leave. The table was too small & weirdly shaped to hold all our plates & glassware, it was ridiculous. Everything was very cramped & overcrowded. It was also dirty, wet spills in the floor ready to make someone fall, broken bathroom fixtures, and it was excessively noisy. They actually played basketball through the speakers rather than music, so I was forced to suffer through the high pitched, nonstop squeaking of sneakers throughout my family dinner, which was supposed to be in celebration of our family matriarch's birthday. You kinda ruined for us Cheddar's. We're not happy. Not happy at all.
They are always super fast, delicious, and professional. I’ve never had a problem here and Gabriel was an awesome server! He knows what he’s doing and is amazing at it. I hope management sees this shining star and the hard work he puts in.
Ask for Victoria!We had the best night at this Cheddars. We had Victoria as our waitress and she was amazing. She was very attentive and very friendly. She made time to come check on us while working the bar area as well. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was just perfect. This was a great night to spend our Anniversary and Victoria made it just as special. Thanks Victoria.
Had a wonderful lunch today with no wait for seating.? I love the peach tea here. They gave me more shrimp in my alfredo than any restaurant in town. 13!??
Honestly, I've had better from here. Might have been an off day for them. Croissants arrived cold, all the sides came out cold. My steak was hot but for a medium it was a dark grey all the way through. There was enough parsley on my fries to be a dish by itself. The appetizer was about perfect, cheese curds. No plates for it but hot a prompt none the less. Like I said though, could be an off day. This was late lunch on a Friday.
We love Cheddar's but multiple times our order is not complete; dine-in and recent take out. We had curbside pick up yesterday and two items were missing, we live too far to go back and collect them. Before leaving restaurant check your order!...QA important. Otherwise, clean restaurant, friendly staff and all around great food. LOL
Love the food and the reasonable prices. But, when you order Curbside Pickup be sure and take your food out of the bag and make sure you get what you ordered. Last 2 orders have been either wrong or had missing items!Come on Cheddars, step up the quality service!!
