Fabulous Food: Fast, Fresh, Hot and Delicious. Very reasonable prices and wonderful owner and staff. The portions are also very generous. We especially love the Pad Thai, Garlic Chicken, and The Broccoli and chicken. We also love the fresh spring roles and juices. We make a point to stop whenever we are in the area. The food and service is always wonderful.
I ordered three fruit smoothies the older guy fixed the smoothies with great value vanilla cream for coffee I asked the guy did this movie have milk in it animal product he said no it does not have animal products I said can I see the container that you got it out of I assume that it was coffee vanilla syrup but it was not it was great value milk cream vanilla milk cream and I asked a guy for a refund that was $24 for three smoothies that only had one fruit in it. The guy would not give me a refund he gave me such a hard time so now I have to give him a one star I wish I could give him zero Stars and his menu does not say anything about adding animal product to a smoothie his advertisement shows delicious fruits and vegetables nothing about milk cream or vanilla and I asked the guy I said you have a tomato smoothie here do you add vanilla sweet cream to the tomato smoothie and he said yes. Do not go here if you want a animal free dairy-free smoothie he will take your money and force you to drink it he asked to swap it out without milk then I said how are you going to sleep in it and he was like I'm going to add sugar to it he would not give me a refund and we did not leave with the smoothies. We did not take these coffee creamer smoothies home it was false advertisement and he would not give me a refund so I had to call my bank and get them to decline the purchase and I had to take a picture to show proof that we did not take these smoothies home and he treated me like I was nothing like I was the slum of the Earth
There was no ventilation inside the restaurant. There was grease and smokes everywhere. The young 20-something year old guy (maybe the owner's son?) who usually brings the food out to the customers was touching his toes with the bare hands. He brought the food out after touching his toes without washing hands. He adds another layer of filth to this dirty restaurant. We didn't eat what he brought out, but we ate what his father brought us. The flavors were okay. The price is cheap (hence, 2 stars!).
Wonderful food and people! If you're with Covenant Transport and need a meal while you're in town, come here for somethin good to eat- the taste and quality of health. I was return customer about 5-6 times, and loved it each time.
This is a great find- some authentic Singapore and Vietnamese food. Staff was super friendly and the service was quick. The Pho I had was amazing, and the Iced Tea is a must. You need to hit this place up!
We stumbled into this restaurant thinking we can get some really authentic Vietnamese food because the wall was plastered with pictures of delicious looking pictures of Vietnamese and Singapore cuisine! What mistake...My husband and I ordered the same item on the menu ...fried Beehoon with vegetables --- which the proprietor said was their best selling item on the menu. My husband got a plate of bland rice noodles but I got a plate of similar noodles swing in some liquid that tasted like fish sauce. The food definitely did not taste like they were just fried..More like premade noodles thrown together with bagged shredded carrots and cabbage reheated in the microwave with fish sauce! We have lived in Singapore for 5 years and have never had a dish of Fried Beehoon like that...fish sauce may have been a staple in Vietnam but we know for a fact that is not used in Singapore cooking! We also had a smoothie that was tasteless! Definitely do not recommend and will not return!
We call this place "Johnny's" because that's what the owner's name is. His food is wonderful! I just love his fried rice, tastes like no other. Everything is fresh and made to order not just your run of the mill Chinese. He makes some good Vietnamese coffees and teas. Be bold and try them! We live in Lookout Valley and want to support our local businesses. Egg rolls!!
What a little gem! They have some awesome pho, we got the beef noodle pho and the sweet and sour pho. I only wish that there were some extra toppings served with the pho (extra bean sprouts and basil and whatnot). Very tasty broth, the sweet and sour reminded us of a hot pot dish rather than pho. Still amazing regardless. The Vietnamese sandwich was pretty tasty too with a few different meat options. Owner is super kind and the place is clean.
Had beef pho and garlic chicken. Both really good
Good but not great. They apparently once had lunch specials (which is why I went) but they no longer offer these. So now you're gonna spend a minimum of $11 to $14 -- and that's not including drinks and/or appetizers. Add tax and tip and you could easily spend twenty bucks for an average meal. I do not feel the food warrants the high prices. Disappointed.
