Great soul food restaurant. Area of town is not the best. I was the only white person there besides the one server lady and I felt very welcomed. The staff was very friendly, sweet southern elderly black lady and man seem to go out of their way to check on you to make sure everything is good. Loved that. I ordered dark meat fried chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and macaroni with a cornbread muffin. The fried chicken was actually real home cooked fried chicken from a cast iron skillet. The gravy & taters were great. The macaroni was basic. Cornbread muffin was good. Definitely recommend coming here for some real food. That's hard to find nowdays.
Chattanooga’s hidden gem! Hits the spot just right and Carl and Wilmetta are so kind, they treat you like special personal guests. I can’t believe I’ve drive past here for so many years before finally checking it out. Come on by and see for yourself!

We enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. The owner greeted us and was very friendly, the food was also very good at a reasonable price. I will definitely return there there on my next visit to Chattanooga.

Me personally, the food was not good at all nor it wasn't worth the price either. Green tomatoes was cut up like breakfast potato cubes. They was under cook and they had no favor. The 2 pork chop they gave me, 1 was very thin. The other chop was a bigger piece, but it was under cook. The Spaghetti. Lord whoever was the person that made my Spaghetti, please help them. That spaghetti needed a prayer. No meat, no sauce. Nothing. Just noodles. The only thing that was good out of my meal was the Lemon Juice. I will give them that. It was on point.
