The atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable. Very quaint original brick. I was in a party of 7. The cooks got all our special orders correct and the food was delicious.
Seated 1 hour late for our 7:45 reservation. Then ignored for 15 minutes. Cheese is in everything? So no go for dairy allergy. First time in 25 years that finding something we could eat was difficult to impossible. Will not go back nor recommend.
Dinner for the four of us was particularly delicious. Just a great meal of dishes with the right balance of flavor spice and richness. We argued over whose was best. Interesting location a bit difficult to find but worth it. We made same day reservations which was worth it because we were served promptly even though crowded. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. One minor complaint is open room seating is somewhat noisy.
If you want some truly authentic Italian food, this is your place. Its a hidden gem in the city only really found by those who know where to find it. I have never been disappointed by anything that I have ever gotten here. Not to mention they have the best birthday meal deal in town! Get a pasta at no charge with the purchase of another, and a slice of their chocolate cake that has a gnache icing that is stunning!
The food is always delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable. However, I experienced the rudest server on March 1st that I have ever encountered. I work with the public, and my family owns a small business, so we try very hard to be overly kind, mindful, and patient. This man made us feel like we were not welcome at this restaurant. I have dined at the nicest restaurants in Chattanooga, and I have never been made to feel that way. I know it’s difficult in this current climate to find help, but his attitude and demeanor was totally unacceptable. I do not typically leave a bad review because I know everyone has bad days, but I was embarrassed because other tables noticed his behavior toward us.
our food was absolutely delicious. From our salads to our main course. Was our first time dining, it will not be our last. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Went for a birthday dinner. The waitress was very fast and efficient. The food was very good. From the appetizer to dessert everything was tasty and delicious.
Very busy but wonderful discovery for us. Reservations can be done online/phone with prompt confirmations and are strongly recommended. A bit off the beaten path but persistence will be well rewarded. The daily special was not on the menu and was meticulously prepared: grilled to order salmon served over spinach and grilled potatoes. Vegetarian options are easily available in several pasta options. The rigatoni is a must have. If it is the day of your birthday the free entree and desert are a special bonus.
Best Italian food in Chattanooga!
To start, the food was fantastic. All of us really enjoyed the food we ordered. I would likely order out again, but I don't know that I would dine in again. To give our server a break, they seemed to be working the bar simultaneously. However it took over twenty minutes to have our drink orders taken and to avoid waiting further we ordered dinner at the same time. We were seated at 8 and bread for the table didn't arrive until 8:45. The side salad came at 8:50 and dinner got to the table around 9. We had our drinks refilled one time the entire meal. The food was great but the service was not ideal. Still, a great place for dinner with great food.
