Large assortment of beers that they brew as well as some basic stock beers. They have a nice appetizer selection as well. The bartenders were awesome
This place is BEAUTIFUL, inside and out. But unless you're going for the scenery, you may be disappointed with the food.I had a $21 salmon plate and it was slightly larger than a goldfish. The rice had hard pieces in it, as if not fully cooked. The sweet tea was absolutely not. Not a good experience. Beautiful place though.
While our server, Sarah, was great (and the only reason for the 2nd star), the food was so lack luster and subpar I pondered leaving after receiving my meal. What once was a good meal 4 years ago has become a place to avoid completely. Our chips were both greasy and stale, while all the sauces were quite obviously straight from a can.The salad was almost warm and the lettuce soft and wilting. Our pastas were just ok.HUGE miss. Avoid entirely.
Stopped on our way home from Florida and wanted a pizza and some wings.......WOW!!!! what a great surprise with the "Italian Pizza"......one of the best I ever had. As this place is also a craft brew locale, they explained that they infuse their craft beer into the pizza dough. Incredibly good with the Italian toppings.....not cheap....BUT.....cheap pizza tastes like the cardboard box it arrives in. This is a great VALUE..........and worth the effort to get there. Bartender David, and Manager JD took good care of us......if ya want cheap.......go elsewhere.....but if you love GREAT PIZZA....don't miss this place........
Great food and relaxing environment!!
We went to the Hamilton Place location on a Friday night. There were only 2-3 parties in the entire restaurant. This should have been our first clue that this was not going to be a good experience. The server was sweet but she had no clue what it meant to be a server. I like to order a drink before dinner and I ordered a beer. After nearly 20 minutes and several pass buys by our server, I asked where my beer was? She walked up to the bar and just continue doing her job so I walked up and ordered a beer from the bar counter. I noted that a couple sitting next to us had a different server and we had to ask him to to help us several times with our desires for napkins, condiments etc. and he had drinks to his table in just a few minutes And they were served and got their mail and left before we even started getting our meals. We were traveling and in no big hurry but our problems didn’t end here. To make a long story short the meal was cold and terrible and I will never stop by here and eat at this place again.
The food was delicious. A weekday at lunch so it was a little noisy from the music, probably because there were not a lot of people. Still, very welcoming atmosphere and a good menu!
We were staying at a hotel nearby and placed an order for pickup on NYE. My husband went to pick up our order and they had only put in his order and not the other 3 meals. They told him it would be about 20 minutes. By the time he made it back to the hotel to eat with us, his food was cold (steak, shrimp, rice). We received something we didn't order- classic Mac n chicken (we tried it and it was pretty good). My youngest had cheese pizza and it looked better than most kid meal pizza. My other daughter has macaroni and cheese (looked like Kraft). I had a pasta with shrimp which was good. I felt bad for my husband since they didn't offer to remake his food, keep it warm or compensate of any kind.
Big River was a big waste of money. The food is average at best but priced comparable to Cheesecake Factory although they have much smaller portion sizes. A small side salad was almost $6! Menu options are limited and everything is sticky (tables, doors, and floors). Our waiter was good, but the only person who enjoyed their food was our 4yr old (she ate a cheese pizza so it was pretty hard to mess up), but even she left still hungry. If you're visiting Chattanooga, like we were, skip this location.
Our server, Robert, was excellent. The fish and chips were good, and I love the apple coleslaw. The dish pairs well withtheir Seven States Pilsner, which was light and fresh. Here's where I take issue. At the door, the woman at the hostess station stared at us when we walked in like we were aninconvenience. It took an hour to get our food. The place wasn't packed, there wasn't a wait. The kitchen manager brought us our food and said they we behind because of staffing. At one point we observed an employee handling his hair and then food. I also observed the wait staff pulling double duty as hosts.
