Best onion rings in the city, and I mean that HANDS DOWN. Subs, sacks (think a sandwich in a pita bread pouch) and burgers. Food for kids, friendly people EVERY time I go. Not sure why anyone would go anywhere else to eat downtown? This place is an absolute gem. Go- you'll thank me!
First time trying the downtown location. Ordered their Reuben-- asked for turkey instead of Corned Beef (not listed as a menu option). They fixed me right up no problem at all. Delicious sandwich and great service. They even gave me a larger plastic bag to help carry this order and my cupcakes from down the road.

We ordered food they gave me the wrong food and told me they cannot make it over nor replace my food items that they gave out wrong on there part I didn’t eat the food I felt like we got miss treated because we were black Kevin got our food and I bet they gave Kevin the correct food they made his over because he was white I will never eat there again..
Gyros and Steak in a sack are bomb. Always great for lunch breaks. Fast and friendly service.

I love this place! They don't have my sandwich on the menu which is a chicken bacon ranch on sub but they make it for me anyway and it's delicious!!! They are always friendly and helpful! The sweet lady even remembers my name when I place my order!! Stick with Ankers Good food and Great service!!!
