Wonderful made to order omelet this morning. Very attentive service provided by Alisha.
When I went here I did not realize it was in the Westin, so it was not exactly the vibe I expected as the restaurant was fairly empty. The restaurant itself was pretty quiet and empty, but it's right across from the hotel bar so that was a little noisy. But the food was delicious and the wait staff were great. As a Chattanooga resident I'm not sure if I'd go back, but if you're staying at the Westin it has great food.
We Jacky came from Atlanta and found the perfect shelter in Alimentary cucina. Our Bartender Corbin is the pleasure amazing guy with nice sense of humor and multitask skills)) We got burger and wings and some tap beer. Satisfied at all. Awesome place especially bar island. Cozy and gooood
I've been here 3 times, and its always been ok but nothing special. But yesterday we sat at the bar and got burgers and a martini (the martini was their well gin and it cost $12.50). The staff was very rude, and the employees kept coming up to the bartender and complaining that they feel like they're the only ones working and theyre tired of this s**t. It was pretty in appropriate to say in front of guests. Then I was told I couldn't add calabrian ketchup to my burger, because apparently they control food cost so well that they only make enough ketchup for exactly how many burgers they are going to sell each day, and he didnt want to give me ketchup and then not have enough for another customer. Next, when the bartender carried our food out to us on a server tray, there were cartons of strawberries sitting on top of our burgers... The dirty bottoms of cartons stacked directly on top of our food. It was really off-putting cause I've worked in kitchens forever and I know where the bottom of those cartons have been. ? Overall it wasn't the worst experience ever, but I definitely wouldn't go back or recommend this place to anyone.
Saturday night fairly busy but no wait. Hostess and server very helpful and attentive, so high marks for service. Big variety of beer (tap and bottle) at $5. Large selection of flatbreads (basically pizza) which made a great appetizer, we also ordered the calamari, both were excellent. Several in my party ordered the chicken dish which came with plain spaghetti noodles as a side, (no seasoning, no cheese) a big miss. No-one ate theirs. I and several others ordered the lasagna, which came as a tall cylinder, see picture, good flavor. No salad was included, so $20 for lasagna and $11 for a Caesar salad, $31 total for the pasta dish. Pricy by Chattanooga standards, especially when no bread was included.
This was my $25 chicken and noodles. The chicken itself looked good but was mediocre at best. The actual chicken breast was bland and the breading and cheese was eh. The noodles were a complete disgrace. Absolutely flavorless and borderline inedible , no salt/butter literally nothing. And the tomato ? barely ripe. The kids Mac and cheese was reasonably priced and wasn’t Kraft so there is that but it was also severely lacking in flavor. ??♀️ I was extremely disappointed and expected far better food from here.
Started with a charcuterie with stone ground mustard, marcona almonds, orange marmalade, manchego, stilton, and fontina.Following that, a perfectly texture calamari with a saffron aioli that was hard to surpass. For entries, a seared Maple Leaf Farms duck breast, ember roasted, in a bed of sweet potato risotte, and a perfect maple-fig agrodolce. And lastly, an 1855 Top Sirloin, garlic buttered fingerling potatoes, grilled asparagus, and a pepperoni demi glace. The meal was superb, the staff were exceptional. Highly recommended
Visited there twice on my recent trip to the area. The bar tender was knowledgeable and friendly, quick to suggest a drink he makes well when I was unsure on what to order. His margaritas are definitely worth a try.
Food was really good. Calamari was an excellent appetizer. We had steak and pasta and both were excellent.Only reason I did not give 5 stars was because they had nothing to make a garden salad in the kitchen. Seemed odd but the rest of the food was good.
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Everything we had was delicious. The flavors are bold and bright, the meat is cooked to perfection, and the charcuterie board is amazing! If you're ready for a classy experience in Chatt, check this place out. The new chef is taking this place to the next level. I will be back often.
