Having come from Texas where this chain started (I believe) and is prevalent, this establishment is well managed and on point with the food. Our server was nice, prompt and efficient. This was by far not only the best Mexican food I've had since moving from Texas, but also one of the best services during dining out. If you're wondering if you should try it, let me help you: TRY IT. My favorite is the enchiladas, but the fajitas, appetizer nachos, and Chile rellenos are the best! If you're into spicy things, ask for the spicy salsa.. (warning: not for the faint of heart! Coming from Texas it's on point with a mild burn). Great place for a date night.
For a "chain" restaurant, this was our first visit to Abuelo's and it was really good. In spite of being short staffed, the service excellent, the atmosphere is nice and beautiful and the food was very good. All of our dishes were delicious and fresh. Highly recommend for anyone, especially the location close to several hotels. Love that they have charro beans as a choice instead of the typical refried beans.
The food was awesome and very hot with fire when it was brought to our table, wait staff was very nice and very professional, I'll be back when I visit next time.
This place is one of the best Mexican style restaurants my husband and I have ever been. Food is made in house so your corn tortillas are fresh fresh fresh, along with the guacamole and their xAbuelos Diablo queso is to die for. Our waitress was Ashley and she deserves so much credit and recognition. Also met a partner owner named Matt and he was great. Knew all about his restaurant and how it is all made and shared that with us while we packed up our amazing leftovers. I recommend Abuelos sampler appetizer. You will not be sad. Best chips EVER!! I'm now obsessed and will be returning very soon!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!
I haven’t been to an abuelo’s in years and loved it again! lets start with the surprising favorite- the tomatillo salsa!! I had no idea what this was and thought it would be spicy, I was pleasantly shocked to see it was fruity?? Interestingly enough, the regular salsa was just meh okay, I wasn’t a personal fan of the roasted flavor but my brother loved it so, to each their own. I also decided to try their mashed potatoes and wow! You never think of a Mexican place when you think mashed potatoes but these were phenomenal!

UPDATED REVIEW: 02/06/22-- Service was great as usual! Food was phenomenal and still very safe and clean during the pandemic (MASK IS NOT REQUIRED BUT RECOMMENDED). Had a virgin strawberry margarita (non alcoholic) and they made it very well! Not watered down and full of flavor. Meal was the Mexican Stack and was also very colorful and full of lovely fresh food! Thank you guys for the amazing service and food we will definitely be back for more!!4 MONTHS AGO---Great lunch today, Love this place food always good along with great service. Best Mexican in our area.
Sat at the bar for lunch. Bartender was so nice and food was great! Everything made fresh and Sunday $5 Margaritas !!!!
We tried this place for the first and last time today. The place is well presented with decor and looked good. Until the food came which was a disaster. The meat is very low grade streak and chicken looked pre cooked Tyson packet chicken you buy for salads. The service was awful. Our server who was rude and obnoxious didn’t tend our table well at all. We had issues with the food and we couldn’t see her. She apparently was also working the bar! We told another waitress who was polite and told her. She came over and instantly started to verbally attack me, whilst the manager stood there listening to her. I continued to tell her I didn’t want a argument but she said she was extremely busy working the bar. The manager of this place needs to find a different career, he stood there whilst the server basically spoke to me like a piece of garbage!
