Oh that Mexican food is authentic ?? at the heart of cozy downtown. So friendly place with awesome stuff and good menu. We’ve been enjoyed. Draft beer is very nice, tacos are good. Our waitress is beautiful lady, she helped us a lot. Thank you for hospitality
Went to this specific bar in a spur of the moment while on vacation in Tennessee. Ordered a taco, burrito, some rice, and beans. The food honestly wasn’t good. It was probably the saddest rendition of Mexican food. The flour tortilla for burrito tasted like it was old and soggy and the beef inside smelled really off. It also didn’t taste like beef, didn’t taste like anything I’ve ever had. The taco was pretty much one on the same. Flavoring was non existent and poor quality. I ordered The Pink Cadillac for my drink and it was surprisingly really good! It pretty much saved my night as all the ingredients and rations of alcohol to sweet and sour were completely on point. Kudos to the bartender to that one. The bartender was also really nice and quick. The place was pleasant all the same and not a bad place to get something quick and enjoy some nice scenery after walking around for a bit. Overall, I’d rate this eatery as a 5/10.
In town for the weekend and looking for some Mexican food close to our hotel. 423 Taco came up in search. It was so good. Besides the TEXAS QUESADILLA I got some chorizo dip which was delicious. It was loud in there due to a happy group of people celebrating a birthday. But the noise didn't overshadow the food. The food was excellent!
We tried 423 Taco for the first time ever and really enjoyed the food. We were seated pretty quickly and decided the dine outside. The inside had a nice décor to it, with some art on the walls and several TVs at the bar. However, the weather was too nice to not dine outside. Our serve Carlos was great and got our drinks shortly after being seated. He then brought the chips and salsa which was good, but I was hoping for a hotter Salsa, which they didn't really have. We ordered the shrimp and fish tacos both of which were delicious. The meal came with 3 tacos each and 2 sides. The meals were priced at around $13 each, which I thought was really for food that looked and tasted like authentic Mexican food. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would not mind dining there again.
No nonsense service and the staff don’t work as a team. Place was reasonably busy and noise level 7/10. Cool vibe and decor. Nice bar with large tequila selection. Mezcalitas were delicious. Fish tacos average flavor and the tortillas fell apart while trying to eat them. Nachos and burilla tacos very good. Overall average experience but location is good and they are popular.
The food was good. Some workmates and I went for happy hour and had a table of 4. We were charged an 18% gratuity charge which is highly excessive for 4 people. I'm glad the waiter decided to tip himself instead of just accepting the cash tip we were going to leave him. He also hovered over us while we were waiting on our friend to get there and pressured us to order our food. I do not recommend this place
Tacos al pastor, mango guacamole, carnitas nachos are my go to favorites. Authentic street tacos and prices are reasonable for some really well made food.
I just got back from a few days visiting Chattanooga and on night one this place came highly recommended by the hotel I was staying at so walked over for dinner. I almost instantly fell in love with the place before even seeing a menu. The decor, location, overall vibe, and everything about it was right up my alley.Grabbed a table and to my surprise there were birria tacos on the menu. They were nothing short of incredible and the Patron Margarita was the icing on the cake. The staff was super friendly. The few small groups in there eating at the same time seemed to be having a great time. This place was a win!!!The next day I learned that a scheduled dinner I was attending would be here again and I was thrilled. The birria tacos and Patron margarita was so good the night before I had the exact same again. As a group we went to their little side alley bar where you get to throw ice shot glasses at a bell. We had an incredible time over there and everyone was so friendly.I truly hope I get to visit Chattanooga some day again to at least get more tacos.
I’ve been twice now and both times have been mediocre at best. My most recent visit I just got a side of cheesy rice because I wanted a quick snack. It was barely warm and I was charged $8 just for a side of rice with cheese. The other time I got a taco sampler and it was mediocre as well. I’d elsewhere.
Went there for the first time and I absolutely loved it!! Good friendly atmosphere, loved the salsa, waiting staff was friendly and everything I tried was delicious. Love the variety and creativity in the menu and I will definitely return to try some more.
