We went for our daughter’s 16th birthday and from the time we entered, the restaurant just did not seem clean. The floor was sticky and the bathrooms were dirty. We were seated and my husband had to ask the staff to mop up a section of grease under his chair. We were going to leave but our daughter loves hibachi so we decided to stay, until a bug ran across my plate. See photo. We deceived to leave and my husband showed the bug to the manger who said “ well, this is the south”…….. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Health department needs to check this place out.

Glad we called ahead to make a reservation! The food was good , service seemed rushed and disorganized. We took our son there for his 20th bday , he wanted sushi , this is why we chose this restaurant. We had to continuously ask for the sushi menu and a glass of wine that I ordered . The wine came 1/3 of the way through the meal ., the sushi menu came after again asking for it at the end of the meal AFTER the desert. The whole point of coming here was for the sushi .I would recommend the restaurant hand out the sushi menu WITH the regular menu. The food had great flavor and was filling .

As a repeat customer, our latest visit was for Sunday lunch with a group of 6, we had to wait a few minutes to be seated (which was not a problem), but once a grill was ready we were seated promptly and was provided adequate spacing between us and other parties. The Shogun's team provided excellent service and was paid extra attention to food allergies we mentioned upon arriving. Great food, Great experience at a good price. Would highly recommend.

This place was filthy. Chewed gum all under the hibachi table. Food was ok. At least a 45 minute wait for sushi. The hibachi chef gave my almost 5 year old a mouse size helping of rice and chicken and zero vegetables. When I asked him about it, he shook his head and basically ignored me. Then they charged me the same price for his plate as my other kids plates, who got normal helping sizes. Because it was me and 5 kids, they took their own tip, and it was way more than I would've left. Service wasnt great. Overall not a great experience for my sons birthday that came with a large bill. My big family will not be back.

We decided to go to Shogun for date nightGreat dinner!!Our chef had a great personality!!The hibachi experience is very entertaining when you have a chef that shows he enjoys his work.He was not only engaging but had the table in laughter and smiles. We’ll be back!

Great service the staff was very friendly and helpful, also i loved the dried rice and food it was great. I love the atmosphere too.

We went to Shogun tonight for dinner. Had a reservation for 10 people at 5:30. When we arrived, they only had us down for 5. Not a huge problem, they were able to seat us. Dinner was good, the server was nice. We ordered another round of drinks and paid our check. At this point it was 6:40 and several of us were still finishing our drinks. The host walks up to our table and says “Excuse me, you all need to leave. You have been here for over 2 hours and we have other people that need to be seated.” Then he turned around and walked away. ?We were all in disbelief of what just happened, even the table next to us couldn’t believe it! We got up from the table and walked to the bar area and asked to speak to a manager. When an older man with no name tag approached us, my friend casually pointed and asked if he was the manager. He quickly pointed out that he was the OWNER then started *yelling* that he didn’t appreciate being pointed at. When my husband told him that we were asked to leave the table he one again *yelling* said, “well of course. You’ve been here for too long, over 2 hours and we are very busy tonight.” ? He did all of this in front of children and other customers that were in the bar area.He refused to listen to anything we had to say. Very poor service on his part. I am completely baffled how he manages to stay in business while treating his customers this way. For the record, we were only there for a total of 1.5 hours but will NEVER go back there again. ?

This is a great place where my family had dinner together. We had a birthday party here, the fat chef who cooked at our table was gruff and rude, but our waiter his name Kyle was very friendly and funny while singing happy birthday to my sister with a drum in incredible language, I enjoyed when he sang, and there was also cheesecake and ice cream after the meal. My family loves this place, and I hope my family doesn't see that fat chef next time. He is a nightmare.

I don’t know what has happened recently but this shogun location has gone completely downhill. The service is terrible, the cooks are not friendly. The staff are rarely seen. The fact we had to flag somebody down to pay, is ridiculous. Definitely won’t be visiting here again anytime soon and I wouldn’t recommend anyone do so.

Three stars not because of the quality of the food. They originally put us at a table with strangers and no space between. I had elderly people and high risk for covid. When I asked to be seated without rubbing elbows with others, they were rude. I only wanted 4 feet or so for social distance. I understand the need to put a group at the table. We were a party of 8 and should be able to eat without sitting up against a stranger that we don't know about who they were hanging out with. Otherwise I enjoyed the show, meal and time with family.
