The wait is well worth the food and service.TIP #1: Be ready to order on the first introduction as this places is sometimes filled with big families or can really back up the kitchen.TIP#2: Listen for your number as they will skip over if you do not hear. We have had great experiences at Cinco de Mayo in Brentwood! It is always busy which is a good sign but sometimes the service can be a little slow because of this. Our servers are always very pleasant. ?I look forward to the chips and salsa here - their salsa is excellent! You can tell it is always fresh and has a nice kick. I love getting their sopa de pollo (chicken soup, some may call it chicken tortilla soup at other restaurants).
Hadn't been there for awhile. Ordered fried jalapeños for an appetizer. Delicious!! Will go back just for this. Ordered Enchiladas Gurerro! Delicious!!

Food was above average. Margarita's were average. Service was a bit below average, but, we were seated in the far corner away from all the other tables so that might have played a factor.
Hardly any wait, even at dinner time. Great atmosphere, quick service and tasty food. Worth if you are looking for quality Mexican food.
The atmosphere was great, the employees are friendly. The food itself is good but not anything that will blow you away. The beer is ice cold and fresh tasting. Parking isn’t fun but the place is busy.
Very nice decor and fantastic service. The Chips and salsa were very fresh and we ordered the bean dip which was a unique mix of beans and queso dip. I could have eaten it with a spoon! ;) soooo good. I had the shrimp on rice with peppers and onions and queso. The shrimp was fresh and cooked perfectly, just the right snap when biting in. The hubs had chilie Verde. The name was something different but that is what it was. He said it was good but he likes it a little more on the spicy side. But he said it was flavorful. It was a good meal.
Food is good, but staff don't wear masks, and the place is short staffed. If you order takeout. Be prepared to wait an extra 20 min beyond your quoted time b/c the guy who stays the take out stand leaves it unattended for long periods of time, so even if your food is ready, you have to wait for him to return
My family loved Cinco De Mayo for simple casual Mexican food. They do great with birthdays and are nearby in Brentwood. Also it’s spacious and never has a crazy wait! Parking has never been an issue and servers are always charming and kind. Good vibes through and through.
