we usually love koi and blue fin but the last several times we’ve been our food has been bland and doesn’t taste like anything, they seem to be going downhill. I hope they can realize this and start to prioritize their cooking more rather than getting dishes out fast, i’d rather have my food taste good and wait a few more minutes. I hope an owner sees this
My family and I went there for my 50th birthday on May 14th, and--as always--we had a fantastic meal! This is my "go to" place for special occasions and entertaining guests. Blue Fin never fails to make a wonderful impression. Their food is fantastic! The atmosphere and their choice of music make eating here a pleasant, delicious, beautiful experience. I always leave feeling more at peace than when I first walk in to the space. I highly recommend Blue Fin!
Got a takeout bento box that was okay, but they forgot the side salads and the separate papaya salad that we ordered was loaded with papaya that had clearly spoiled.One of the only places open on Easter Sunday though, so take that as you will.
Delicious! We went for a late lunch and had mimosas and hot sake to drink. Started with the Tom Yum and Tom Kai soups and both were great. If you love crab get the volcano roll (so good). Service was great and I enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely go back.
The sushi and Pho was very good, but the service was ridiculous. At first it was fine. The server came and took our drink and sushi order and brought our beers back immediately. She said she would return to take our main order. We waited 45+ minutes for our main order to be taken and then our sushi was brought after that. Tried several times to get someone's attention, but they don't even look your way. Other than the service, all was good. Atmosphere is awesome.
I ordered calamari appetizer and ginger chicken. Calamari was excellent! Loved it. Ginger chicken was good. Good sized portion for lunch. Friendly staff. Quick service.
Let me start by saying this has always been one of my favorite places. I order the same meal every few weeks and today it was $10 more than it usually is. When I told them there was 2 other patrons expressing their same concerns.I do understand how Covid has made businesses raise prices but when I got home to eat our meal I was disappointed to say the least. It has never looked like this. Usually there is many veggies and more protein. it was rice with a couple of broccoli and a few pieces of meat.Tonight not only was it more expensive, but not prepared to their usual standards. So disappointed.After reading other reviews it seems its not a priority.
my husband and I went there for late lunch on Sunday after drop our daughter to a skate party close by. it was probably 2:20 and nobody came out to greet us for like 5 minutes? we were hungry of course, right when my husband told me let's go somewhere else to eat. then one lady finally came out as she was giving the TO GO food to a girl standing by the front waiting so at least, we were noticed and being seated. then we sat down to look at the menu, after I told my husband when I wanted to order then I went to use the bathroom first. even I came out but still nobody asked my husband if he was ready to order. he was frustrated and I saw the lady who greeted us to sit anywhere we wanted was at the table close by, so I waved at her. then we got our order and it was pretty fast actually. then a white food runner brought our food, my husband said just put in the middle and she immediately asked us if we were going to share the food which we do always. she spontaneously offered us two plates to put food on.then during lunch, the First Lady actually checked on us. the food was really good and reasonable priced too.
Everything on the menu was extremely good at bluefin sushi. Fast service.
Oh. My. God.. ??? …. Atlantic roll and Columbia Ave. roll … y’all it is just SO good. ??… new love. Amazing service, so friendly and attentive! Great suggestions and amazing drinks and rolls! New favorite spot for sure. I promise I will be back and often! ??
