I ordered to-go and was pretty disappointed. The chicken breast was soggy on the bottom and when I tried to pull it apart, it was nearly impossible, extremely tough. Fried chicken should pull apart easily so I was afraid to take a bite. Either it was underdone or seemed to have been boiled before being battered and fried. The potatoes were fine, the macaroni and cheese were dry and bland and the rolls were the kind you find in the freezer section. If it were cheaper, I probably wouldn’t have complained but for the price point, at lunch even, the food quality needs to be better. My daughter liked her corn dogs but the fries were unseasoned. Overall, likely won’t return.
Sweetpea's was recommended to us by a neighbor. They offer a fairly limited menu. The portions were small, and the food was not well seasoned. The restaurant is pretty small (not like quaint), and is poorly lit. It was hard to read the menu. Parking is abysmal.
Had lunch there today with some coworkers. The salmon patties were delicious! The portion of meat and vegetables were very good for the price! Our waitress was the sweetest!!! Highly recommend!!
Food is delicious and staff is nice.
Thank you so much today for going above and beyond getting me some delicious to go orders. So glad I could grab a frozen chicken dressing and strawberry cake from your stocked freezer. The 8x8 dish was a perfect size for the family. Love supporting local business.
We love Sweet Pea's. Good southern cooking with a set menu that has something for everyone. I generally get either the fried catfish or the chicken breasts. Great food.
Went for lunch, had beef tips with greens and sweet potato casserole. It was really delicious. Reccomend highly. Food is moderate price. Portions are generous.
