The turtle funnel cake is delicious went for candied apple but was out and got Carmel apple
Best ice cream my son and I have ever had and that's a hard title to achieve. It is so creamy and delicious (we had the cheesecake ice cream in a dipped waffle cone). There is so much to choose from- candied apples, funnel cakes, boozy desserts. We are located out of town but we will definitely be back when we return to the area. Thanks!

An adorable sweets shop with kind workers, despite the Saturday afternoon rush, and a surprisingly large amount of delicious baked and frozen treats to choose from. Everything from slices of cake to chocolate covered cookies to handmade ice cream! We were happy to discover another local place to add to our favorites list.
My kids love this place. The Italian ice and funnel cakes are so good. I want to try a candy apple we we go back.
I visited for the first time on 2/8/22 and Chris and his team were Very Welcoming and I purchsed 2 Caramel Apples and Adult Ice Cream. My wife and I returned today, after I bragged and Everyone today was just as gracious. We left with 3 Candied Aplles, 2 Caramel Apples and 2 Adult Ice Cream. I was refered to Quintessential Sweets and they couldn't be more correct!!!!! Thank You Chris and Team!!!
We were looking for a casual dessert place for Valentines, and we ended up going to Quintessential. The first impression of the place was ok. It smelled of fried food, which was welcome considering we were looking for something more than ice cream. But the place looked a little cluttered. It’s an odd-shaped store, but I think they could give it a more welcoming atmosphere, maybe less coolers out front and more tables.We ordered the cookies & cream funnel cake. It was very good! I wish the cream topping on it was less icing-like so it didn’t crumble. We also took it home to eat since they didn’t have tables set up, and I’m just hoping that the cake was more crispy when it was fresh than it was after 15 minutes in a styrofoam container.We also got the cheesecake milkshake. That was really good! Sadly, the cheesecake bites would get stuck on the bottom of the straw. I’d suggest they get those large straws people use for boba drinks for this reason.The service was very friendly and helpful. No complaints there!Overall, it hit the spot! I think we’d only make a return trip if we wanted another funnel cake. The ice cream was just typical of any other creamery.
After I got home I felt like I needed to write a review because today I went in, I got greeted by the girl at the counter while she was helping someone else out. She had a great attitude the whole time even though it was busy. She didn't seem annoyed at all, I know I would have if I had that many people in the store. I left with an italian ice and happy mood! To the red haired employee that helped me out today: Thank you for being you!
My husband just surprised me with an amazing strawberry funnel cheesecake and caramel ice cream shake ? this is the first time I've ever had anything from Quintessential Sweets and it was amazing!! What a great way to end a rainy and cold day
