It’s clear none of the staff want to work here, and they could not put in the least bit of effort to ensure their customers have a good experience. Aside from the fact that not a single smile or kind word could be found, we waited over 30 minutes for our food. After asking the counter employee multiple times about our food, he finally “found” it on serving shelf behind the cook line, where we saw it placed a good 15 minutes previously. I told him my soup was cold after sitting for so long, and he replied that they’re now out of that item and it could not be remade.I haven’t been to this McAlistars in months after the last experience, when upon greeting the cashier and asking how they were, the reply I received was “I’m finna walk out of this junt”.Do not go to this restaurant. There are plenty of other establishments nearby that actually care about their customers and their product.
Every single time I get take out from this place the order is wrong or missing items. Like every single time… Today, I decided to give them another shot and ordered a Caesar salad and some other items. Guess what, they forgot the Caesar dressing. Also the greens on my sandwich was rotten….
If 0 stars were an option that is what this location deserves. 3 orders of over $75 each and each time were missing items and made incorrectly. And when having to return for this issue am met with horrible attitudes from staff and the evening manager (who must set the example that its ok to give attitude to customers). Then nothing is remade fresh after being rifled through by staff nor incorrect items corrected, only missing items added. Never again will this location receive my business.
This is not so much about our food, although the sandwich was made wrong and my wife's salad was very light on lets say everything, and the men's room was a mess, but get this. We had been there a good 20 minutes when I noticed a customer come in the front door with a large bag of food. He told them they gave him the wrong order. They took that bag from him and gave him another bag of food instead. BUT, they put the bag he brought in right back on the counter!!! They never remade that order which was returned by another customer, who probably drove all the way home, could have touched ANY of the food, tasted it (? yuck) drove back up there and said it was the wrong order!!! The employee's never even looked inside of it!!! Sure enough a different unsuspecting customer came in the door and they handed him that bag. THIS place is OFF my radar!
This store took a little hit during COVID but let me tell you what they snapped right back. The staff as been working very hard to get things back on track. The only complaint I would have was some of the items weren't very fresh. I'm guessing that maybe their truck hadn't come in yet to replenish their ingredients. The atmosphere was pleasant and the manager made it a point to make his presence known.
I never even had heard of McAlister's before I came to the State of Tennessee to live. When my wife purchased a Trailer and it was put in Millington TN instead of where she wanted it, in Tipton County. This is when I and I suppose her too, discovered This Fast Food Restaurant. As of late, anything is better than most of the others.
There was a small mess up on my order. They took care of it with no hassle at all and made sure to make everything perfect. The good was incredible and the Manager was very kind in offering a cookie. You can’t always get things perfect the first time but they made sure to make it right.
The employees are so kind and take care of you. The food was good and warmed me right up on a super cold day!
It’s your turn McAlister’s.Spun the “feed the family” wheel and landed here. The franchise had been sub-par for a while but, the family voted.Placed our order, paid, TIPPED, and then reviewing drinks, they left one out... ok, finished transaction #1 and moved onto the single drink for $3.50. After about 10 minutes I had all 4 drinks. And they were DEAD... like already had the front doors locked at 7:30.Finally food was being brought out and EVERYTHInG was either wrong, scraped from the bottom of the barrel, or just incomplete. And the solution proposed was not to make it right, it was to argue. At this point I couldn’t even muster up eye contact. I TIPPED.As we ate, the door was locked and unlocked and locked and unlocked, “we closed” still with people showing up to pick up to-go orders, this is between 7:30 and 8. Folks were working harder to lock a door that had no business being locked than ANYTHING service related. It was ridiculous to watch.Now... the meaning of the word GRATUITY. A little something extra paid (typically after the fact) for good service, sometimes even horrible service, but all the same. An exchange of gratitude. Now I don’t know if these kids get a tip pool, but they’re not making $2.15 an hour and feeding a family so why even HAVE it? Especially when the next thing you’re dealing with is the exact opposite of service.I TIPPED, this is McAlister’s, not Taco Bell. I expect better but I’m not showing up to see it happen. Y’all can keep your sweet tea.
Went tonight with my family. First the place was dirty. Could barely find a table to eat at and it was due to understaffing cause there were four girls just standing at the front counter. Then when we ordered they basically told us they were out of everything and it was still 2 hours until they were supposed to close. I mean you couldn’t have made more tea? They had unsweet but not sweet, why couldn’t you have just added sugar? There is a Kroger across the street they sell sugar. Then when we got the order half our stuff was missing and when I asked for our items the girl acted like she couldn’t understand what I was asking for, like asking for our drinks and the sides to our sandwich was hard to understand. Will never be back to this location it has just gone down the drain.
