We have lived in Lakeland for over 20 years and just recently started going to Longhorn. My favorite is the strawberry salad and the ribeye. You cannot go wrong with this place. Tonight, we went and not only was the food superb as usual, we had the very best service from Heath. Going out to eat can be aggravating nowadays with restaurants being short staffed but from the moment we sat down until the moment we left, he was top notch! He brought us refills before our cups were empty and continued to check on us throughout our meal. It was a wonderful experience!
Went to lunch with co-workers. We asked to be seated away from others in case we discussed work. The restaurant was very accommodating and gave us a large booth that allowed us to eat and work. The lighting is bright enough that I could take notes but they weren't heat lamps hanging over your head. The table, seats and floors were clean. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was hot and delicious. The salads were fresh and crisp.
No matter what state im in Longhorns delivers consistently. This location is no exception. Top quality food and sweet tea. Friendly staff you can't go wrong.The local Texas roadhouse is excellent too but longhorn has them beat on the sides.Enjoy!
Came today for Mother's Day at 11am and it was our first time visiting this location . This is a restaurant I would say one and done. The kids menu has a mediocre selection. I ordered lamb chops and they didn’t have that grill flavor I was looking for like other restaurants , mash potatoes too soupy/too soft. The food was just ok.Nothing to brag about. Our waitress was nice and attentive.
My sister signed up for the online wait list for a birthday dinner. It gave us a twenty five minute wait time. When we arrived we were told we are 15th in line and it would be about an hour and a half.Edit:Updating my review to two stars. Got a text our table is ready. We're eating somewhere else, but the hour and a half estimate was pretty accurate.
Good tasting good. I had Flo's filet, sauteed mushrooms and baked potato and bread. All of the food had very good flavor. The wait time was acceptable.
My coworker and I decided to go there for lunch today. When we entered the lady at the front did not greet us. There was a young couple ahead of us. After she guided them to their seats she returned and just stood there looking at us like "what do you want?" Finally she asked me how many and I said I would like a table for 2. She then proceeded to tell me that it would be a 30 minute wait. I was already really turned off by her demeanor so I decided that I didn't wanna wait. We left to go someplace else.
Was there today sometime around 5pm. It was not busy, many open tables. Waited 5 minutes for host to appear. When seated, we never were greeted,never got water,one waiter passed by us twice without even a nod. After 15 minutes (really) the staff began to set up a table for a large group ,again ignoring us. When we got up to leave, no one even acknowledged us going out. Granted , they we short staffed like everyone else is, but a simple "we'll be right with you" would have saved them a sale.
Dined alone, it was nice. Treated myself to glass of red wine. Flo's Filet & Lobster Tail w/mashed potatoes, it was delicious. Perfect end to the day
Absolutely great. Great service and Jennifer made a lonely lunch a great lunch. Update! So 4 days ago I had lunch and it was great. I went in tonight, got seated and waited 15 minutes and checked the time. No one said anything. Like I wasn't there. 3 different servers walked by. I just left and no one said anything.
