11 out of 10 thee absolute best frybread I’ve tried and I live on the rez so I’ve had my fair share of taste testing! Awesome friendly customer service is always a bonus with great tasting food.
Food was excellent! Food was authentic, fresh, generous portions, and reasonably priced. We had great service and enjoyed eating our lunch outside.
I guess I'm a regular now... been several times now and love everything I've tried. Super great atmosphere and great people. LOVE the music and Art!! 100% recommend!
Great food and alternative to the fast food franchises getting bad publicity over questionable harmful toxic ingredients a we should support local businesses.
A little something for everyone. Local Lakota offers amazing fresh 'Indian Taco's' up to a 5# option. Also offers Buffalo, Vegan and desserts.Great value for your money.Definitely will be a must stop more often.
Watecha Bowl is an absolute gem! As a chef myself, I was blown away by the freshness of the ingredients, the portion sizes and the show stopping fry bread! This quaint little place provides some great authenticity to the cuisine and I highly suggest you all try it!
Staff was great. Would have gave all 5 but there was no lemonade today.? this was my first time here and I was looking forward to the whole experience. But the food is great. The fry bread is a little sweeter then I'm use to but was still really good. Will be back. Would also like to know when or if there would be any gluten free bread available.
I think I went on a bad day ... Everyone else picture looks amazing... This is what I ended up with...Outside of bread was fluffy and soft then as you get to the middle the bread thinned out like a funnel and had a hole. The grease drained out there. I opened it withing 5 minutes...the middle being so thin crunched like a potato chip. The meat was seasoned decent but chopped so fine. I ordered with everything on it. That includes meat, cheese, lettuce ,salsa, sourcream and black olives.Very skimpy on the toppings . Collected 3 tablespoons of grease in container.Overall I expected better ... The other pictures are amazing.... Taste tantalizing..Not my experience tho....
I tried the Bearclaw today for lunch. It was flavorful, but lacked a side dish for $12. I think it could have had more meat, especially compared to the bowl that my coworker got. If I come back I would try one of the burgers.
We live coming here to eat! That fry bread is to die for. It's changed a lot since we were there last. And it looks very nice. Our cashier/cook was very friendly.I can't get over how delicious the fry bread is. We had already eaten a big celebration dinner but still wanted something from Watecha Bowl . We ordered the fry bread fingers and it sure satisfied our sweet tooth. We will be back.
