I ordered 6 burritos at 4:50 in the morning, the gentleman was kind,but the woman who brought my food out held my food back so I couldn't reach it and gave me a lecture for not ordering ahead of time ( the lot was empty) and she didn't give me the correct order anyway! She was extremely aggressive and I hadn't said a word ,I will never forget her anger towards me
Before I state here my feelings on the food here allow me to qualify my reasoning. I am from rural south Texas, born and bred and raised being fed Tex-Mex, and cuisine direct from Mexico.The food was very plain and bland. It was not enjoyable. I do not say this to be offensive and I apologize if it comes across as such. This food is not what I am used to.
I enjoyed their chicken bowl, and was able to add the mango salsa at no cost. It was a good addition to an already great meal.
Great customer service, they ran out of sausage for the morning but the manager was cool he corrected my order.
I used the app to get food and they charged it but everytime i went to check in.. a message would pop up saying the order was canceled, twice. So i brushed it off and just ordered until my card kept declining and I went to go look in my bank turns out they charged for my order. The dude just says well wait till tomorrow and you'll get your money back but if my order was charged and if our food was already made why not just give it to us, if the price was the same thing. They didn't even try to help.
Love taco Johns hence 5 stars but my god night crew half hour in the drive through what are we doin?!Also edit:plz tell us the secret on drive thru. Every-time we have been waiting a while people come after us and end up getting going before us in line. How does this work?!
Super rude and messed up the order. Paid full price and extra to have it delivered. The order was wrong and when we called the manager argued and told us that we were wrong and if we wanted “free food” we should go somewhere else. They even tried blaming the delivery driver instead of taking accountability. We paid $30 for food and got half of it. I wasn’t even able to eat what was delivered because it was beef, I can’t have beef. The receipt showed chicken and the manager demanded proof before she would correct our order so one of us had to drive to the store to either get our food or some money back. Normally we would let it go, but the rudeness and audacity just wasn’t sitting right. I love taco johns and I’ll go out of my way just to avoid this location .
A solid fast food option, open late night too. I tried the crispy tacos, a meat & potato burrito, and some potato olés. Everything was tasty enough, and the service was fast and friendly. The meat & potato burrito was massive and filling, and I love the crispy olés. They get an extra star for being open 24hr.
We got an order to go, a taco, a taco burger & some other things & it was great. Descent amount of meat on all, cheese cup was full & the price was great. Will definitely go back to the branch on E 10th Str. Oh & the employees were friendly & a great help to us. Definitely a good experience.
Today was exceptional service and food! I have a special order and Steph, one of the few, always gets it right but today I cant put my finger on why it tasted so much better! The oles were warm, crispy, seasoned well and just tasted amazing! The burrito didnt disappoint either! I wish every visit was this awesome!
