I honestly don’t know how this place got a almost 5 star rating. My bf and I ate here and we couldn’t even finish our food. The fish was not fresh like people are saying. We have plenty of experience eating a verity of Asian cuisine and we would never come back. I had to spit out the rolls we got because they were so fishy. I think people that live in Sioux Falls don’t actually know what good sushi or rolls are suppose to taste like.We even got fried calamari and spring rolls and we couldn’t even finish those either… I feel bad leaving a review but I felt like I should give my input for others.
Very clean, fresh and fast! To order poke you’ll grab a order sheet, mark what you want and pay. It’ll be ready so quickly. I took the order to go, it was perfect. The fish tasted so fresh. I had ahi, avocado, mango, pineapple, onion & carrots w white rice. I have allergies so used my own sauce at home but the options look great! Will definitely be back!!
Best Chinese in town and possibly Midwest. Super fair prices but you get more than your moneys worth of fresh fruits and fish that look and taste spectacular. Service is superb flavors are abundant and it's healthy.
OMG! Out of all the Chinese I have ever eaten in my life and if you know me I eat it a lot! This place is by far the most enjoyable flavors I have ever had in my mouth! They give good portions of food. And I always thought I hated sushi but at this place the flavors of the different sushi was to DIE FOR! This is a must try place to eat. You will not be sorry you did!
This place is absolutely fantastic. They have the best poke and best Japanese fried rice. Anything you get on their menu will be good.The owner/manager is extremely personable and will do anything to make a customer happy. This is a great place to come eat! Don't miss it.
I have never felt the need to write a review before but this was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. All the good reviews about the staff confuses me as the inattentive staff was the main complaint we had. My partner and I went today at 3pm on a Tuesday, we were the only customers. I've been to many restaurants with a serious language barrier, it's hard but usually manageable. We tried to clarify our order twice and still did not get what we ordered. We were not given an itemized receipt so I don't know what we ended up actually receiving, we were just given a total price, which did not match. The lunch combo meal we tried to order came with a soda. The soda lines in the machine were not hooked up, so we were given a small can when we asked about it. I had water from the machine, which was room-temp tap water (almost warm), and there was no ice to cool it off with. The actually poke bowls have a significant amount of filler rice, and not much sauce. For this I only have Fancy Bowl to compare to, but the level of quality does not compare. Even the rice used isn't quality rice, slightly overcooked, and gives the sushi the texture of grocery store sushi. The ambiance music is nice, though a little too quiet--or maybe the cook watching videos at full volume on his phone was a little too loud. We got in the car speechless after leaving, I've never regretted trying a new restaurant before. Even though Poke Picks advertises so many 50% off deals and discounts, it ended up being cheaper at Fancy Bowl for what we got. Save your money, if you want to try poke, go to Fancy Bowl.
1st time there, ordered hibachi chicken bowl. Veggies were cold, and chicken not grilled(no grill marks). Light on sauce as well. Was ok, but hoping for better. Will try sushi if I return.
The food was tasteless and undercooked. Had the chicken bowl, didn't finish. The teriyaki sauce was good, but not good enough to make up for everything else.
My experience here was awesome. The food and drinks were great and I absolutely loved the customer service. Staff here is beyond nice!!
Amazing service! Love the spicy tuna, and servings and quality are amazing! Totally a new favorite stop for me and my friends!
