Usually end up ordering at the Papa Woodys food truck but was craving pizza so stopped in downtown for a Philly cheesesteak and Mediterranean personal pizzas. Delicious as always. Good service.
Food was fabulous. Service was great even with a full house! 3 of the 4 of us had pizza, each one was delicious, my son had wings and said they were the best he's had in a long time! It was super fun as the map they have at the front door for people to mark where they are from did not have our hometown marked, my kids enjoyed sticking the pin in our spot, staff was super friendly! Next time we are in town, we'll be stopping by!
VERY VERY VERY SLOW SERVICE!!! We waited for over half hour just to put our order in and then waited another half hour!!! And the pizza wasn’t worth the cost!!!
Really solid place. The location is really nice, with a great patio and plenty of indoor seating. The place was relatively busy but we were able to be seated within five minutes. The waitress was on point and ready to take our order and brought it out very quickly. My wife had the taco pizza and I had the philly cheesesteak, both were very tasty albeit the portion size was a little small. Overall a pretty solid pizza place with more to offer.
I couldn't have had a better experience! First time customer tonight. Sat at the bar and had a beer while I waited for my carryout order. Met the owner, Lisa, and was very impressed with her story and how this family owned business got its start. But the best part was the pizza! SO GOOD! I highly recommend Papa Woody's!
What a delightful surprise! Our server informed us they haven't been open for too long, so I hope they find a large fanbase so they can stay open and thrive. We were at the end of the last day of our trip, and we just wanted a nice spot for lunch. We had seen their sign as we left the Falls Park and decided to circle back and try it out. We are certainly glad we did! The ambience is great, like a big pub in Ireland. The food is handcrafted, delicious, and good portions. I asked for my fries to be just this side of burned, and I was NOT disappointed. They were as crispy as potato chips! And for once, my pickle was thick and firm, not limp and warm. And the the service was fantastic: friendly and attentive. One drawback, the menu sadly lacks any sort of salad or side salad, even a wedge salad, though they clearly have iceberg lettuce.
Great food, but even better service.We ordered three pizzas for carry out and two of them were perfect and delicious. One was wrong and missing toppings. But the manager was very kind and willing to refund our entire meal, which I was only hoping for a refund on the one pizza. I have had their pizza before and never had an issue so I know this is not a typical mistake but their willingness to make things right just proves they are the best in town.
Food was good. Service was terrible!! Little kids not paying attention to their tables. Goofing off with their manager. All of them including the manager watching videos on their phones. Waitress eating her own food in the prep area. If you want to go to a place where they care more about their phones then you then this would be the place to go. People in the kitchen worked hard. I will give them that.
