I almost never eat fast food. Today I remember why. I was up early running errands. After I was done, I was hungry and passing this location. I pulled in about 6:30am. As soon as I pulled up to order, the guy on the other end in a very short and rude voice said "can I help you". No "welcome to McDonalds" or "good morning", just a very rude "can I help you". If that's how they are when they work, I definitely don't want to eat there. I just pulled away. Kill your customers for good 1 at a time and you'll regret it eventually. Officially done with McDonald's. Probably for the best anyways.
In the past, during the AM hours, I have dealt with a particular order taker/manager whose name I do not have. He would always come across as rude and in a hurry (I get that it's quick service) to take my order. One issue I'm sure you are well aware of is that it can reduce order accuracy. He would often use the phrase "is that it" after each individual item that I would order. This is a phrase that I coached to never use because it comes off as rude and doesn't really portray that you have a smile on your face or that you want to be there. Which is a quality that I'm sure McDonalds wants to project. This was fine for me but, just always rubbed me the wrong way. This morning however, my wife stopped at the same location after a doctors appointment to order some food and he was quite rude. Rude enough to where am I finally reaching out by email. She requested 2 regular Sausage egg and cheese mcmuffins and 2 hashbrowns and 1 SEC mcmuffin with extra cheese and 1 Sausage Mcgriddle. Apparently there was a bit of miscommunication and my wife requested to start the order. Your manager proceeded to say that he doesn't start orders over and that she should just read the screen. I'm sorry, but it is not the customer's job to make sure the order is correct, am I wrong? Telling a customer to read the screen does not absolve the manager/order taker from responsibility to make sure the order is correct. She did however, complain to another manager about his level of service. The female manager gave the excuse of there being a language barrier and offered to make sure the order was correct. However, when the order was complete prior to being handed out the window my wife asked what was in the bag and teammember responded with what was supposed to be in the bag. However what we received was 6 sandwiches and no hashbrowns. Granted, my wife did not check the bag prior to leaving the establishment, but should she have to? Has customer service at quick service restaurants become so incompetent that we need to always check our bag prior to leaving the drive thru?
Very rude employees, refused to serve us at 11 when they close at 12 because they were to lazy to make us food, disgraceful to fast food l will never be going back I definitely don't recommend. Actually sad and pathetic.
Order missing items, when I informed the 2 kids at the drive thru that both of my happy meals were missing fries and ranch they did give me ranch but proceeded to tell me that fries no longer come with happy meals. Shockingly when I looked in the app it states that happy meals come with fries and a 2nd side.
Terrible service. Ordered 10 piece meal. When I got to the window, the young girl tried to hand me a water with my Coke. Not a big deal and I simply told her that I didn't order a water and didn't want it. When I mentioned this, I got the rudest snarl from her and a snotty response asking me what I ordered. I told her my order and just got nothing but attitude from her. She handed me my bag without saying anything. Of course when I got home and opened up the bag, she forgot the fries as well. I'm sorry she was having a bad night, but taking it out on customers is not good customer service.
Went through the drive through every one had an attitude. Got pulled around ordered a meal and an extra sandwich. They forgot the extra sandwich. Called them since lobby wasn’t open and still waited another 15-20mins for a mcchicken to be made. Lack of communication from there bosses! Oh and then of course the food gets cold. Won’t be going back for awhile til I see or hear better business
Norman the GM went above and beyond. Seriously his customer service is amazing. The #5 was delicious! Hot, fresh, and fast! The good ole days!
Someone, maybe everyone needs to file complaints with the SD attorney general. This is beyond poor service. It's criminal. Insects in drinks, half cooked meat and false advertising. McDonalds needs to send in the calvary.
Why are u closed at 10 PM when you're not supposed to close til 11? EVERYTIME I come here there's a problem. This store is unbelievably incompetent, you should just close down for good. The one on 41st across from the mall is 50X better, hands down
Literally go to any other McDonalds besides this one. They take forever to bring out online orders and will not come to the window if they don’t feel like it. Lazy and 0 customer service.
