The portions are very generous while the food is fantastic! I tend to find the steak rather chewy so I do avoid that, however, I have not had a bad experience with the chicken or seafood items. The salsa is fantastic and the chips are good. They are made fresh so heads up as they will most likely have some extra oil on them. Always great service and they sure do earn those 5 stars from me!

Food is tasty! Great serving portions. Service is bad. The cashiers need more customer service focus. Price wise is good. Overall great tasty Mexican food.

I’m continually less impressed with this location the more I go. The food is good, yes, but it’s run by kids and often they close when they want to. (Sometimes the young workers’ children are there and they are constantly running after their kids from behind the counter during an order.) Tonight, I called at 9:30 and nobody answered. Tried again at 10pm, no answer. I finally drove up physically at 10:15 and she’s on her phone, texting, then hurried to lock the doors so she doesn’t have to work, despite it saying “midnight”.This generation of kids need to be taught that a job is a privilege, and a business is there to make money, not a place to slag off and text your baby daddy. They have dynamite food. But their service is in the toilet. Unreliable is the best way I can describe this location. The other alternative is the Minnesota St location and that place either gets shot up or is packed with drunks (at night) out the door. You can see where this is going. You won’t find better Mexican food in SF without sitting down, but both locations have MAJOR problems. Terrible news really.

Place was suppose to open at 9:00 am. A friend showed up around 9:05 and we said it wasn't open yet so he walks around the back and about 2 minutes later someone comes and unlocks the door. The rugs and floors and tables had not been cleaned from the previous night. Ordered food, came within a reasonable time but this "friend" kept hanging out with the cooks and the front person when she finally came to work. Food has been better but was about a 3.5 out of 5. Pop machine was lacking fiz. Commented on it but no one fixed it. Won't rush back.

I regularly eat at the Minnesota Ave and the Sertoma Ave shop and always have amazing food. I have had friends tell me to stay away from the 10th street store and I wish I had. The guacamole was terrible, the meat had no flavor, the help was on their phones. We live on the east side and won't be going back to that shop again.

Wanted veggie fajitas burrito .Came home with steak, chicken, shrimp burrito.Steak was so tough I had to give it to the dog and shrimp was so over cooked is was like chewing a rubber duck. The $11 fajita burrito had over cooked vegetables in it that appeared far from fresh. Will not go back.

Worst service ever! My order was made incorrectly and was told that they we closing soon and could not remake my order. I could get my money back only if I retuned my food back. I could get it remade the next day but also only if I retuned my food. I was not about to let my kids starve. The lady at the front was very rude not only to my family and I but everyone ordering. I ordered two full orders of super fries and I hardly got any fries and the order did not even fill up half the plate. I have bought with them multiple times but this was my last time wasting my money.

We just got a couple lengua tacos but they were the best. Better than the many I've had in houston texas and omaha nebraska. Really tender and juicy. Great salsa. The gal at the register was abrasive and unprofessional to the kitchen staff, but the tacos were so good i would definitely come back.

Definitely hit or miss with the service. I've encountered a really rude cashier here and a cashier who was very helpful. One of the cashiers said she didn't speak spanish, which to me is strange for a Mexican restaurant. The food is good just make sure you check it before you leave.

Great little taco place. Had shredded beef and chicken tacos ?! Yum! Would try just about anything in the menu. The sauce was great also. They call it spicy cabbage. Wasn't familiar but worked great as a salsa /taco sauce. With a tad bit of spice.
