Maybe I got there at the right time because it wasn't nearly as busy as it should be considering how delish it is. It was really pleasantly quiet as we sat in the clean and near establishment. The staff was polite and kept their distance and didn't interrupt with unnecessary follow up questions. Ordering was quick and breezy. I will definitely be returning and bringing others with me.Note: I ordered a poke bowl. I can't speak to the rest of the menu. I can only extrapolate from this one meal that any other similar items would be tasty and fresh like this one. ?
This is the best sushi that I have found in Sioux Falls. HIGHLY recommend their Autumn of SD and Tropical Tour special rolls, though you really can't go wrong with any of their rolls. When I'm not in the mood for sushi, my go-to is their Hawaiian Chicken Signature Bowl. They're also great about providing vegetarian options or altering dishes to be veg-friendly when I'm not feeling up for meat!
My husband and I love sushi. We usually hit up our fave spots in Sioux Falls for this (Oshimi, Fuji and Tokyo).We decided to try some of the newer sushi additions in town. Fancy Bowl did not disappoint!Friendly hellos when we walked into the casual downtown restaurant.Fast service and fresh and delicious rolls!We ordered pork dumplings as an appetizer and the buy 2 special rolls get one free. With 2 drinks.We were stuffed and could barely finish our rolls. Total bill...$41 dollars for a Friday night date downtown. That's a win in our book!!!I'd recommend this to anyone for authentic, inexpensive Asian food.
Steamed dumpling appetizers. Excellent Ramen beef soup for the main course. Everything was served in generous portions tasted great.
The food here is fantastic! So fresh and flavorful. I keep coming back to the build your own poke bowl because it is SO delicious and a ton of food (great leftovers). My personal favorite is with the salmon. The staff is so kind, as well.
WE'LL BE BACK & Fancy Bowl is definitely worth heading downtown for!So personal! My son was so excited to eat more authentic dishes, and the lady and gentleman running the place were so receptive. The "house made hot sauce" is a MUST, as it is amazing & pairs perfectly with the Ramen & the Noodle dishes. The gentleman who brought out the hot sauce proudly told my son it was house made & hot. My son loved the Japanese sodas. Everything was so fresh, so delicious, and the people here made this experience the best!!Everything is so clean here too.If you get take-out, they have reusable microwaveable containers (not the leaky paper ones). Wow!We'll be back every time we're in town!
First time in town, wanted to check it out. Friendly staff and very tasty and generous poke bowl. Definitely worth trying.
Great place for takeout or dine-in. My kids and I were in the mood for ramen and randomly picked this place and I must say this place was top notch. They were super friendly, accommodating, and super fast with service. My kids even said "dad can we eat here every day" after eating their rice and ramen. Thanks for the great service Fancy Bowl, we will be back.
During Covid in California we started the tradition of sushi Friday. When we moved to Sioux Falls we were afraid we wouldn’t be able to keep up with the quality. Fancy Bowl and the consistent four people who run it, have proven us wrong. We have now eaten here every Friday for over 7 months!
Great food, super low prices in my opinion, very flavorful, ingredients are always top notch quality wise, staff is a pleasure to interact with. Clean friendly warm and inviting and best of all delivers on healthy satisfying food. One of the best restaurants in town, and makes you feel like you have good taste which is true if you eat here so eat here and have good taste.
