Fantastic food and service

What a wonderful experience we had! We were celebrating college grads! It was so perfect! The table, the staff, the atmosphere and the food was over the top wonderful! Thank you for making our special celebration one we will never forget! Can’t wait to come back!

Friendly staff and the food was delicious!!

Very nice intimate or casual lunch/dinner setting. Reservations are encouraged to limit the traffic. Staff were very friendly and professional. The chef is awesome and everything was prepared fresh from the kitchen. Highly recommend for a date-night dinner or special occasion.

First experience at Chef Lance's was great! We stopped by for lunch on a Friday. It was busy but no wait. I got lucky enough to try the 2022 burger battle winner before it disappeared from the menu. It did not disappoint. The tots are to die for. Picture funeral potatoes formed into a ball and deep fried.My wife tried the cheese curd burger, which she claimed was a little dry.Look forward to trying their dinner Menu sometime.My only knock is that the exterior walls are not insulated well, so it can be cold/drafty if you get an outside wall booth in the winter time. (We had a baby with us)

Our server was Meghan and she was amazing! She helped us select our dishes and she was very prompt in answering any questions we had, also with anything that we needed. It was over all a very good experience. We came all the way from Minnesota and it’s one of the best experiences we have had at a restaurant. Food was amazing, service was great and staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back!!

I brought my brother (and our dad) to celebrate his birthday. He loves burgers and wanted to try the winning burger for his birthday. He has never met a burger that could beat him. He said it was the absolute best burger he had ever eaten and was so full he couldn't finish it!!! My steak was cooked to perfection! The cheese curds were fantastic! The breading was just right and the cheese was melted not chewy. My mom got the penne ala vodka (take out) and said it was delicious as well. Finally, a place with a Moscato that wasnt just a cheap wine! This is what I call a fine dining experience! And the price tag was surprisingly low! This is definitely a place to eat! Do t forget to get a reservation though! It's worth the wait!!

Super good food and friendly service. The inside and out side has a unique atmosphere. My only grief is that it is a very open space so sound travels easy so it gets pretty loud in there and the could use a few more wines on there menu as well

Finally got to go experience Chef Lance’s restaurant. Very nice, great staff and the food was excellent. Mac n chz egg roll and the chz curds were a great start! Finished off we had the Wellington, shrimp and grits and the ribeye. Sad to say we did not have room for dessert but anything Chef April makes is outstanding. Til next time, keep up the good work Lance!

Chef Lance opened his doors less than 4 months before our first visit, and our experience was on par with many veterans we've visited. We were greeted with our name on a table in a pleasant modern, yet rustic, atmosphere.Everything we ate surpassed our expectations. The fresh bread was so delicious with its seasoning and herb butter. We started with "Benjamin Potatoes", bite sized potatoes loaded with a herb packed sour cream, cheddar cheese and fresh bacon crumble.Our meals both came with the choice of a soup or salad, and boy are we happy that we didn't pass on the corn chowder. It was clearly made from scratch, with the perfect amount of potatoes and large tender chunks of pork. So delicious."Jenny's Tortellini" was spot on. Nice large portion full of fresh mushrooms and spinach in an incredible sauce. The salmon was no disappointment either. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the lemon caper sauce complimented the parmesan cheese so well.If the great food wasn't enough, our waitress stood out as well. She was what you'd consider a professional in the service industry. Perfect timing on everything, very polite and not overwhelming at all.Chef Lance and his team should be very proud of what they have created, and I'm willing to bet they will become one of the top restaurants in Sioux Falls. We will certainly be visiting again soon!
