The food is delicious, however the consistency of ordering isnt there. Sometimes you get sauce,sometimes you get a charred jalapeno, sometimes you get lime, you NEVER get radishes even though they are in the picture. The tacos are pretty dry without those things.
This hidden gem is one my faves. It's easy to swing by and go through the drive through, and such a friendly atmosphere inside for when my family comes with - the staff there is so warm and positive!Their portions are big and delicious and reasonably priced.The chicken tacos are nothing short of amazing and the Churro is hands down 10 x better than Taco John's... even have custard filled ones.They are my GO-TO restaurant when I'm in central Sioux Falls.
First time customers tonight!!!Let me start off by saying that the man who took our order was soooo sweet & so nice. Smiling. Helpful.He was honestly the best!! I wish I had asked him his name. Shout-out to the chef/cooks. The food tasted delicious!!! Fries were the perfect amount of crispness which is hard to find at some places!!We had a great first time experience!! ♥♥Thank you so much. We'll be back to order more lots of new things. We already had eaten dinner before we came here so we didn't want a lot but what we did get was perfect. P.s. If you get the cheesecake chimichanga, just know that its a lot bigger than what you'll expect but you'll love EVERYTHING about it. Lol.
Best asada hands down! Moved here from the south. We’ve tried many restaurants in town and this is by far our favorite Mexican go to. The amount that comes with the super nachos could feed three people. Great prices and flavors. Gilberto’s was our go to, but now it’s this place.
Fresh food friendly staff. Better than Gilberto's and always less crowded. If you are in a hurry go to taco bell. But if ya got a few minutes give these guys a try!! Same menu basically as Gilberto's but the flavor is better. Carnitas burrito!! Yum!!
Bland.Average.Was hopeful would be more flavorful, even the rice and beans lacked flavor.We lived in California and Vegas for decades and seek out great Mexican food.This could have been great, but is only OK
The food here is Soo great! The food has that great home cooked taste, the portions are well worth the prices. And the service is so nice I feel like family. Highly recommend trying it.
Service is great, great portions but the food is incredibly greasy. I get it that junk food isn’t healthy but this place just goes up a couple of notches. I had a quesadilla today and it was soaking all the napkins from the grease. This is dangerous actually.
We’ve been getting food from here since the opening. We’ve always been pleased with the food, service and pricing and have recommended Abelardos to friends. We got food about 3 weeks ago, got it home and realized the order was wrong. We figured it was a fluke since we’d never had an issue before. We got take out again tonight and the food was inedible. It’s taco Tuesday so figured it would be a quick trip thru the drive thru. The wait was over 15 mins and when I got the food home it was again the wrong order. I ordered chicken soft shells and beef fried shells. We got beef hard shells and beef fried shells and everything was grossly overcooked and tasteless. Very disappointed. Sorry to say, I doubt we’ll be back.
