The chicken & rice bowl here is Perfect! I was looking for healthy options while passing through on a road trip west and I'm so happy that I decided to give their chicken shawarma rice bowl a try!! Everything tasted amazing!! it was not overly seasoned like most fast food restaurants now a days and it was everything I hoped to enjoy! Felt as if I had made my own home cooked meal eating here. My husband said the lamb gyro meat was good too, not overly seasoned! If you're just like my husband and I.. and dislike overly salty, greasy, or overly seasoned food.. this is the place to eat! (Hopefully they keep it that way) ;)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!Born, raised and live in Chicago, with a lot of Greek friends and some of the finest Greek restaurants in the USA. Been enjoying the best in Greek cuisine for 50 years. That said, the Gyro Hub was one of the best gyro meals I've EVER had. Generous serving of meaty lamb gyro slices (really, lamb is the ONLY meat for gyros, although this spot offers other options) with requisite onions/tomatoes and a very flavorful house made tzatziki sauce liberally applied. The side salad (billed as Turkish) was delicious, with layered flavors of feta, olives, tomatoes and a great dressing.Bottom line, if you like legit gyros, this is your place. If I lived in Rapid City, I would definitely be a regular and try out the rest of the broad menu of Mediterranean specialties. Nice people running the place, too!!!
We happened upon this restaurant in Rapid City on our way to the Badlands. What a great find! The food was so delicious we made a point to stop on the way back. We had chicken kebabs( beautifully spiced) Hummus and falafel plate, stuffed grape leaves, Turkish rice(amazing)baklava, and Turkish Coffee. Everything was so tasty and the people who run the restaurant and employees were lovely! This was the best food of our weeks vacation in Wyoming and So Dakota. If this place was in our hometown in NH, we’d eat there every week!
In our recent visit to Rapid City we were looking for places to get food and we landed at GyroHub looking at the reviews. We loved the food. It was fresh and flavorful. Most importantly the portion was big. I wish they had smaller portions with little less price. I am sure I will try out again in my next visit.
Living out in rural Nebraska, I don’t get Gyros very often. I took advantage while in town on business. Restaurant was clean, and the lady at counter was very helpful. I settled on a Gyro Supreme w/fries. My Gyro was delicious. There was a LOT of food on that plate! I did not go hungry. Next time I will skip the fries, and just stick with the gyro. It was easily the star of the show.
Don't sleep on this place. Best gyro I've ever had easy. Real Greek food.
The Gyro Hub 2 at Catron street is our favorite. we were at the one at Eglin Street as well but this one is better. Had the chicken gyros ($8.84), it was excellent and the portion was way bigger. Very friendly employees, we ordered online for take out and it was ready right on time. Love it!!!!
Normally love the food and the service…however tonight has been the second time the manager has rang in my order wrong after I’d specified I was ordering gluten free. First time it happened I didn’t catch it until after I’d already ate and I got terribly sick. The owners refunded me the meal several days later as I left right away because I got sick. Tonight the manager did the same thing. I ordered a gluten free item, she asked if I wanted it on pita bread and I said “ b/c it’s gluten free it comes on a bed of rice. She said oh yeah that’s right and then asked what I wanted for my side. As they are making orders I watch her bag up a box with a pita in it and then she hands it to me. I explain that’s not my order b/c mine was gluten free, it should have been on rice, not pita. She tells me that it’s gluten free and she didn’t hear me say anything about wanting rice instead of pita.
Bang for buck! $10 for a filling gyro - plenty of lamb and veggies! Get extra ziti sauce. It’s so good!
cost $70 for like 4 adults, food was good however tiny plates. Good idea for the owners to add extra stuff with the meals
