In my opinion Pancheros has the best tacos in Rapid City! The staff is friendly.The food is fresh and made to order. They offer variety of salsas. I’ve never been disappointed at this location.
Don’t order online they will never get it right. Customer service is SO BAD. I understand understaffing and I am happy to wait for good food, but if you can never get an order right there is no point in going here. I asked for extras that were an added price, the toppings were never added but the extra charges were. If you like to throw money out the window go here. I love the food and it’s so sad that this place refuses to listen to a customer or order. Food wise this place is so much better than chipotle or Qdoba but sadly I won’t be coming back. Too much money wasted to never get what you’re going there for.
Honestly normally I don't write reviews I usually Let It Go but I used to love Pancheros I'd say somewhere between three to six months ago from this posting I loved it now me and my friends will probably never go here again the new employees they have working here made the dining experience and order creation terrible when you ask for a scoop of something you get a handful or if you ask for two scoops of something you just get a handful case and point I want a scoop of jalapenos not a handful equivalent to 2 to 4 scoops and I'd say the order handling employee that was handling food creation was really rushing to get us out of there at least out of the Line path anyway we were the only people there also my quesadilla didn't have any cheese and not only that but when I used to go here with the good employees I watched every step of the creation process of the food the new employees they don't even mix your toppings and rice and whatnots together with the plastic spatulas and stir sticks they are provided all this being said there was probably more that I didn't say if I ever go here again I'm only coming for the soda I probably won't be ordering food from here until the employees are retrained in hospitality and portion control and listening skills and I have been in the Foodservice industry for most of my life the customer is the most important person for the business to succeed to make money and lifelong customers I've also been a business owner and if the business owner of Pancheros here does see this take a look at the people coming into the store are the same old people still coming in all the time
If I were rating the food alone, 5 stars all day every day. But unfortunately I would rate the customer service, or lack thereof, at a 2. Employees rushing the customers through the line while using a tone that felt like impatience and inconvenience.
They were so overwhelmed with online orders that in addition to the long in-person line, we waited at the beginning of it for at least 20 minutes without even being acknowledged. They just continued to do online orders and ignore the people in the restaurant. When we asked how long until we would be served they said “no idea”. I understand they are understaffed and to go orders need to be done also but they could have at least told us how long we would be waiting. We finally just had to leave and go to Qdoba :(
The Rapid City location is very clean and have a great staff.The freshly pressed tortillas are tender and huge.All of the ingredients are fresh.. The queso is amazing. Your burrito it it will be the huge no matter what you to put in it.It's typically 2 or 3 meals for me because it's so big.
Very Good Burrito. I like how the mix the food prior to wrapping the Burrito. Although Mexican typically gives me some gas; GOLEE this place HAS ME POOPIN. I have probably farted every five minutes since I ate here, and they are the wet and stinky kind too.
I used to love this place but I'm starting to question if I should continue coming here. There is one employee that is super rude. The first time was when I asked for chips and queso and he made a remark, rolled his eyes, huffed his breath and got it aggressively. The 2nd time coming here I was asking for an extra scoop of beans and he was aggressive about that also. I noticed its not just I who he treats rudely because he was in a bad mood with people after me also that I noticed. Then, this last time going there I dont know if this place is treating the employees right or what, but noticed a new rude employee. I try to be polite every time I frequent this joint and was considering asking if they can cater a party but now I dont think I will use them for this event because it is just leaving a bad taste in my mouth. (Pun not intended, the food is very good) Unfortunately they don't wear name tags so I can't put down which individual is rude, but can definitely point him out because he's like that every time.
I was invited by my Lady for a quick and tasty dinner. I ordered 2 Tacos with Chips and Cheese. The price was good and the service was quick.
Love this place but here on a Friday night at 8:20pm and they have the doors locked? Sign on the door says 9pm Monday-Sunday. What’s up with that?
