We had dinner here. The waitress suggested we do not order the osso buco, she said it was tough but we ordered it. It was horrible. She did the right think & brought us another main course. Excellent service. We'd go back here.
Great food and service here! Visiting while on vacation, so we like to try local places. Friendly people, excellent service, and delicious entrees. I highly recommend this establishment for a pleasant dining experience. Thanks so much!
The food was excellent and the service was even better. Jessica was our morning waitress and she was wonderful. She was friendly and very pleasant. Such a joy and helpful with local things to see. You have an amazing employee in Jessica.

The restaurant is in a hotel. Quickly seated, wait staff came by quickly. I started with a cup of the French Onion Soup. Flavor was good, but not enough onions. Very thick pieces of bread with cheese on top. Needs thinner slices of bread as it was a bit overwhelming. The need to build the flavor just a bit; a touch of cognac at the end would elevate it. Just my opinion... My meal was the potato crusted Walleye. Just a bit over cooked. 3/4 of the way through it started getting a lot of bones. Somewhat off putting. Didn't finish it due to that. I understand it is fresh fish and you can get bones, but kitchen staff should have checked for bones. It came with roasted veggies (zucchini and squash) and rice. Good flavor. Husband had Buffalo strip steak which came with potato choice. He had a baked potato, came out hot from the kitchen. He added a salad bar for $5, which he said was great. Had chunks of cheese to slice, little sandwiches, soup and a nice selection of veggies. Prices a touch high to our liking, but comparable to this day and age.
The menu variety is great at Minerva’s - something for every taste bud. My husband had pasta primavera with a delightfully light cream sauce and yummy veggies. I was looking forward to my veggie stir fry with chicken, anticipating freshly prepared vegetables for a veggie-centric dish. But the broccoli smelled and tasted of being frozen! The chicken chunks also seemed to have been factory-prepared. Huge potential dining but low on delivery because of these shortcuts.
