I review bars and restaurants on a regular basis and from the first moment I got here tonight I rated this place a 2. I sat at the bar-which was very dirty. Many dirty dishes. When I sat down I had to clear a spot. Those dirty glasses and dishes did not get picked up. My spouse and I ordered and it took 40 minutes to get our pizza. The whole time more dirty dishes were stacked up on the bar. A couple of times a waitress came and cleared a few things out but the mess remained. At one time a new customer came in to have a drink, neither bar tenders saw or acknowledged him. We pointed him out and they finally took his order. After his 1 drink he left.
Ok, first of all this place has always had a really great atmosphere about it! Cozy and comfortable seating with really nice lighting definitely sets the mood. The food is also really good and is priced adequately. The only reason this place will get a 4 star from me instead of a 5 star is the consistency of service. It's a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get! Our service was average at best this last time, and nonexistent the time before that! Some people have had amazing service here. This place definitely deserves your time and money. That is the most important part. They do everything really well, just wished they could work on the consistency of service between the waiters and waitresses.
Overall, we really enjoyed this place! We were in town for a concert and found this place for lunch. There was about a 20 minute wait but the hostess had told us 30 minutes, so no complaints there. We ended up waiting a bit for our server to come to our table but it appeared to be due to him being busy, so that's understandable. He was otherwise very attentive. We started with nachos and boneless wings, which were good portion sizes and very good. We tried the fish tacos (very large portion!), pizzas and a burger and we were all pleased with our food! The place also has unique decor, which was fun.
Really interesting menu in a nice atmosphere. Quiet enough to have a conversation without shouting. Had the smoked salmon Flatbread. ?
During our visit in SD we stopped for quick dinner and it was so delicious. We had flatbread and tacos. The interior was awesome too. We loved it so much that next day we grabbed cheese pizza to go and it was delicious too! Service was excellent as well! It’s a must try!
I've gone there a couple Wednesdays. Great atmosphere, good food and great beer, Mountain Man Scotch Ale and Jeremiah Johnson Amber Ale, and friendly staff. A very good place to chill for the family or on your own (most of the place is devoted to family seating), reasonably priced food with good portions from what I've had this far.
We ate at this restaurant years ago when it was first built and due to our bad experience, we never went back....until today. We thought we would give it another try. Unfortunately, we still won't come back now. While the food was decent and would have given a higher rating, the service and cleanliness was poor.The walls had food on them. The table had just been cleaned and was very WET upon sitting down and our cloth napkins got wet. The tables are water damaged and have food stuck in the cracks. Not enjoyable seeing these things when you're eating. The service was very slow. 30+ minutes to get appetizers and the wait was long for even our bill. Waitress never filled our drinks.If they would put a little more work into their staff and cleanliness, then their ratings would probably match their food.
Only been there a few times but always been happy with the atmosphere the food and the service, clean, friendly.
Dec. 5, 2021Visited this really cool chain restaurant I had never eaten at, will definitely patron here again.The everything was Fantastic!Laid back family friendly with a spot on music selection.Plus they knew how to make a proper Irish ☘️ mule that we enjoyed on the VERY windy cold day.
The drinks and bartender were great! I know they are currently understaffed, but the kitchen took an hour to make their Monday night special desert and the cookie was still liquid batter when we scooped into it. We chose to not eat raw egg and sent it back. We didn't have to pay for it based on how long it took, but it was disappointing for Valentine's Day.
