Ichiban has the best sushi in town for the best price! Even on a Friday night when every restaurant is slammed, there's only about a half hour wait between when you order and when you pick your food up.
My girlfriend drove 20 minutes to get 2 firecracker rolls. Then drove home another 20 minutes only to find out there was slim to zero spicy mayo sauce inside. We called and complained and even offered to bring it back to prove that there was a mistake. They insisted that we didn't have to, when we came back another 20 minutes to get a replacement the persons just handed us 2 cups of mayo sauce. Ichiban, instead of honoring their mistake they made it seem like we were lying to them.
This used to be the best place for sushi. But have noticed a decline in the service, and if you order the same roll in 2 weeks it looks totally different. However the food is good, just not consistent.
Smidge sketch on the outside, but one of the best sushi places in Rapid. The appetizer 'crab poppers' is one of my favorites!
I have been here in the past when we lived here years ago, and was so excited to get to go again when I was in town, until I WASN"T. She was rude off the bat and I wasn't sure why and then there was a spill and while my sister-in-law was trying to hold. with her whole arm at this point, the lady looked at us several times and after attempting to get as many napkins as i could fromt he bathroom and her bringing out rinks to two other tables while obviously ignoring us, we got up and as we were walking out my SIL said a rage would have been nice the rude woman replied, no mess woud have been nice. How unnaccatable

Portion sizes and quality vary depending on when you go. I've gone before and it absolutely slaps. Other times it's like eating raw vegetables.

Great selection and good prices. Food was solid. Only down side is that there's not a lot of seating.
