Ok,. To start I am not a fan of the whole pick out your own food thing and make your recipes. So while I could eat what I picked out, I would not say it was more than ok. Also, having to stand and wait for the food to be cooked resulted in large disruptions to the meal conversation. The store was under staffed so the food was over cooked. I hate to fault them for that because it might not be their fault. Would not deliberately go back. Nice staff. Clean store. Reasonable cost. Poor concept.
This all you can eat Mongolian grill was a hot mess the night we went, we were visiting from out of town and had never heard of this place. The very nice waitress explained how it worked and took our drink orders as well as soup and salads and we were off to fix our bowls of noodles and meats,veggies and sauce. The place had a lot of options three different noodles lots of meat options, a slew of veggies, an over load of sauce options. The problem was the place had gotten slammed and it was a mess! This is due to the nasty people visiting the establishment not the owners fault! The place had plenty of staff. We waited in line for our food to be cooked on the grill and the line was long, by time we made it to the table our soup was cold. The restrooms on this night were horrible but this was also due to the nasty people visiting, we just happened to be there on this night. I would give it another try if I was in town. I could clearly see the place was well staffed. Visited 06/08
Fresh food, clean food, friendly staff. We were on the road and desperate for VEGETABLES and digestible, whole foods and real meats. HuHot delivered. No gross oils or additives. We actually went three times in 2 days because we could not find another place in the area that actually served legit portions of spinach or broccoli.
May 23rd, my boyfriend and I went in, and they were not busy at all. I get my plate, go up, there are maybe 2 people in front of me, and I watch as the cook lets the food sit in the same place for over 5 minutes. Burnt. I don’t like to make a fuss so I sat down and tried to eat it anyways. Every single bite had a charred, unchewable noodle, and that was AFTER I picked through it. Giving up, i go and get my second plate. Now there is no one in front of me. No one behind me. Still, charred, crispy food! Unbelievable. Then the waitress takes both of my uneaten plates, and charges my boyfriend and I for both of us still. As a waitress it’s your job to notice when your guests haven’t had a single bite of their food. I was too upset at the time to have to ask to have it removed from my meal. Unbelievable. We usually have a great experience here.
Very friendly staff, particularly the grill cook who was extremely nice to everyone! It's similar to other locations in the chain, service is quick and friendly but ingredients aren't the greatest and the sauces are really just too salty, can't really use less because then the flavor suffers as well.
Having been here twice I can easily recommend it to anyone with a taste for Asian food. This place is great, for one reason above all others. You create your plate. Might seem complex, it's so not!Buffet style choice of noodles, meats, vegetables and another buffet of sauce options.They serve white steamed rice to your table upon request.You put all your choices in a bowl and take it to the giant stone grill in the center and they cook it then and there, while you watch. Takes no time, and since it's not smothered in butter or oil the food is light, wonderfully flavored and if you have room for seconds, grab another bowl and go for round 2! I know my plate might look eclectic, but that's just me, I picked it by what I wanted to taste, not for how it looked, but that's the beauty of the place!Personally, I'm full after one, but there's a cookie shop just down the strip which tempts me to save a little space for dessert, you might want to do the same.
Food was not fresh. At all. You could tell the staff were just there for a pay check. Not very friendly or personable. Except for the guys cooking the food. They'd always check in with people to know if they had liked their most recent combinations.
Never been dissatisfied with the service or the food, good variety fresh always a good choice for lunch or dinner
The food, as with every Hu Hot I've been to, was outstanding. The waiter we had was very helpful. He never gave his name, but he was always there when we needed him. He was also always sure to offer refills or suggestions for our meal. Excellent experience.
Love love love this place! It’s always a good meal! Need a bigger container for the beef as they seem to always be out!
