We stopped just in Rapid City just to have coffee and a quick bite here. We weren't disappointed! Everything we had was great.Street parking or side parking available. Restrooms. Easy to locate. Kombucha on tap.The only downside is the limited table availability. Our family of 4 grabbed the last spot and had to borrow a stool. There was a long line behind us...I hope they were just grabbing coffee to go.The decor is great and the whole area in general is nice. Clean, safe, lots to see and do.
Beautiful place, a bit confusing when you enter but they readily explain how it worked. Choose your food and drinks and they'll bring the food to your table, and be called for your drinks. Sandwiches quite delicious, original and generous. Atmosphere like you could write your whole thesis or novel there, specially on top.
Espresso-based drinks, kombucha on tap, tasty food. I had the avocado toast, hubby had the montecristo, and son had a breakfast burrito. Small menu, but everything was delicious. It was busy when we were there and most tables for for 2 or 3. Clean, great decor, easy to find, street and side parking.
This is a wonderful place with some really unique treats. Their acai sorbet bowls are fantastic...completely redifines how you imagine a sundae. I am not a health food crazy (but you could be)(, and I loved this place.
Seriously a fan of this place. Reminds me of a favorite hipster coffee shop in Nampa, ID. Their açai bowls are ah-mazing. I've tried both the Bright Eyes and Buttercup versions and both are delicious, but I'm a huge fan of Buttercup. I'm going to try and replicate it at home (because I can't afford to get one every day as much as I would love to!) to the best of my ability but I know it won't be as good as H&O's.Oh, and try their café miel latte with oat milk! ?
Amazing coffee! The maple coconut latte is divine. The food is delicious, the ambience is chill. Such a good vibe. 10/10 recommend.
Great hangout. Baristas that know what they’re doing. I had a Guatemalan pour over. Excellent. I enjoyed the chipotle chicken sandwich. Lots of students studying. Clean atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Friendly service.
My friend and I felt uncomfortable at this establishment. The woman taking orders made it obvious she didn’t like my friend and me. I don’t know what about us upset her. I was wearing a mask and my friend is in the LGBTQIA2S community - maybe it was one of those things. My friend and I were polite and respectful. We made sure to thank her and be nice but it didn’t help. Food was ok and coffee was good. I won’t be back. It’s too bad because I live in Rapid City and try to always eat at locally owned restaurants when possible.
YUM ? My husband and I came here while in Rapid visiting family and we came back multiple times because it’s just THAT good. We love finding local coffee shops — it’s a hobby of ours. The coffee is wonderful (some drinks too sweet, but that’s easy to remedy) and the açaí is AMAZING. We also tried two lunch sandwiches — the chipotle chicken is the BEST. We will be back our next trip here!
Came here with my boyfriend, his sister, and his mother during our visit to Rapid. This place reminded me of cafes in Portland with their rustic touches everywhere. It was pretty busy for a Thursday morning too.His mom and sister are vegan and didn’t have an issue ordering (with a few adjustments). I had the breakfast sandwich with ham and Gouda and the croissant was perfectly flakey. I ate it with some of the salsa that came with my boyfriend’s sister’s meal and that completely elevated it. I also ate one of their local bagels with peanut butter. Really great food!
