Love everything here. Make sure you ask for a side of their basic sauce, as it’s spicy and delicious ?
Easy to park and order. Got my order quick and checked out easily. Taste is good what I ordered but the sizes of the rolls are a tad bit small compared to other sushi places I've been.
The worst experience ever. I waited 1 and half hours for some fried noodles still nothing came so I gave up and left. They didn't even explain why it was so slow. Every table around us were done but we waited for a long time even after they were all gone, for nothing. I felt they discriminated me because of my race. I will never recommend anyone to eat at a place like this. Definitely the most nasty place!
I love the owners of this restaurant and everyone inside is amazing, patient and kind. and the food.... AMAZING!!! Best Korean food around. Also excellent lunch specials and nice an quiet at lunch. This is one of the few gems in this life you don't want to miss!
I try to post only for the best 5 star Google places, but Hana disappointed us for the entire meal. The waiter gave us imitation crab sushi instead of cucumber rolls (how does this happen?) and he did not know why my veggie mother might not want it. This after we had carefully explained what we wanted and she could not eat. He got other items wrong, too. He's not new, having worked there for years, I guess. My sushi, not veggie, filled with fish, was fried to death. I expected raw fish in the rolls. The salmon in a roll was miniscule. The entire meal was miserable. We hoped for better.
Went to dinner at Hana Korean Grill & Sushi Bar while visiting Rapid City. After we were seated our server stopped by and announced he was also one of the cooks, it was obvious that they had a staffing shortage. The menu has a variety of sushi rolls, several nigiri sushi options but only one sashimi option, a $30 dollar platter. Other options included beef/chicken bulgogi, galbi (short ribs), hibachi chicken/beef/shrimp, rangoons, gyoza dumplings, etc. We ordered several dishes and waited a good amount of time for them to arrive. When our food did finally arrive, it was not complete, it became clear that our server forgot to enter an entrée and an appetizer which finally came some time later in the meal. The meat on several of our dishes was overcooked and chewy. The sushi and sashimi were average, nothing special. Overall not a great experience, mediocre food, and while our server was entertaining, the missing/late orders took away from the experience.
Only pay in cash. One of their waiters adjusted their tip on a simple order of two chicken ramen and kids chicken nuggets from a $5 tip to a $15 tip. I notified management, and they told me I had to keep calling them to get ahold of the manager. The manager made no effort to contact me and apologize and did not offer to issue a refund, luckily our bank reimbursed us. I have been going to Hana since it opened in it's original location and I have always loved their food. I decided it wasn't worth it to keep calling them over a petty theft, but when and if we return, we will only pay in cash and I recommend others doing the same.
My Significant other took me here on a casual date, and, man were we surprised! This is the old pirates table, and making the best out of the layout, it creates a wonderful atmosphere! She tried the apple sake (warmed) i had a tiny sip and can confirm, even as someone who got burnt out on apples growing up elsewhere, this was absolutely delicious! The BIBIMDAP is to die for and is A MUST. The TOFU BAN BAN is not on their in-store menu, we had checked online prior and thought it adventerous. It was. If there was anything i could say is a true asian inspired salad, (like a ceasar or w/e is to other parts of the world) the tofu ban ban salad is it. The yammy yammy roll was amazing. We left stuffed into a food coma. And yet probably the most unhealthy thing was the sake. As far as i know, this is the only place in this reigion that makes traditional bibimdap and i am so grateful they are here! We will return again, gladly!!!!!
I can't say enough about this place...but I'll try.Best sushi in town larger portions better tuna. We have the same server every time. He's very kind and professional. The ambiance make you feel like you're the only ones having a meal. It's cozy and beautiful I love all the details. The glitter on the rock nooks the flower tiles around the light fixtures. The tea cups...love it.
I literally CRAVE their Yakisoba and their avocado, cucumber and veggie rolls! Interesting fact, I don’t like sushi but after having these alternatives… I’m incredibly hooked. Also, I have worked customer service most of my life so when I tell you that their service is incomparable, you know it to be true. Shane (hopefully I spelled it properly) truly tips the scale on the customer service though to inspire me to write this review. No matter if I have been there in person, ordered a pickup or used a delivery app, they always have treated me like a friend they know. This is invaluable and rare these days.
