They took old food and used it for our order! Then I call to talk to a manager that keeps trying to tell me it was made fresh when I tell her it was HARD, not crunchy. That it was hard on the middle. She still didn't seem to understand but said she works have a new one delivered and we could "switch it out". Are you serious?! I tell her we can just come up, we don't live far. We go don't live far. We go down there and she tries to say the driver just took it. But I insist on showing her the food. She sees the old food and says "oh...." Whoever that dude is in the back comes up and is mad that we're there, calls the driver and says she'll leave it at our door cuz she has 3 other deliveries, and now it's been over an hour, the restaurant technically closes in 3 minutes, I've called again, and still don't have my money or food.
Everything was pretty good, decent quality. The Moo shu beef Was outrageously salty. Almost too salty to eat. Please tone it down. I'll try the restaurant again
Good place to go would give 3 1/2 stars if I could. For sit down Chinese food this is a better place than most. The eldest waitress is my favorite. Best crab rangoon and hot/sour soup in town.
Got shrimp lomein..... SOOOOOOO GOOD!!
At first glance everything looks fine. I've purchased food here many times as I am a local. I've not ordered here in a year, but last night I picked up a Togo order here's what I got.1. Chicken strips and fries for my son.2. Lo mein- White rice with vegetables and chicken wings.3. Orange chicken combo with fried rice and crab ragoon. My total was 36.74 with a 1.00 tipMy orange chicken was weird... at first Glace everything looks fine. I took a bite and felt like it might be undercooked? I cut my chicken in half and it was not undercooked but it was really soft, I was expecting at least a crush or something. My fried rice was good like usual. The Crab Ragoon was also pretty good. Found a hair but I'm not sure where it came from. Maybe the chef has facial hair? It looks thick and black. The taste of the chicken was quite off so I didn't finish eating. I looked at other reviews and didn't feel like dealing with the quote "Rude staff"My son wouldn't eat his chicken strips really, but loved the fries. I'm not holding that one against Great Wall, my kid is a butthead. My boyfriend complained that he only got two pieces of fried chicken with his Lo mein but the rest was good, he finished his food.
The service was amazing, the gentleman did a wonderful job of being attentive and helpful. The food was wonderful as well. will be back!
I don’t normally do reviews but this place they try to overcharge you be aware using a credit card I tried tonight I saw the person at the desk type in a larger number for my credit card the amount was $32.90 she tried to charge me $39.10 I caught her I told the manager the manager did nothing I told him to take the food back I will never be back there again I’m a regular customer there for them to treat people that way it’s not OK
The entire order was inedible. Everything tasted like it sat out all day yesterday and they reheated it without smelling it first. The shrimp was bad and even the chicken tasted like it. The lo mein noodles were overcooked, everything that was fried was either mushy or chewy. The rice was dried out and flavorless. Half of the fried rice was white! The soy sauce packets were stuck together and covered in old dried up soy sauce. Highly disappointed. Would not recommend!
I have been eating at Great Wall for many years, with never a complaint about food or service. Lately, the food has been less than stellar, prompting me to make calls to them about the quality of the food I received. And they argued with me! Food I have been ordering for years is suddenly tasteless, and overcooked. If I call to complain about the food I received, it must be serious to me. DO NOT ARGUE WITH ME ABOUT IT! If I don't like it, nothing that is said about it is going to change my mind! The restaurant needs to own up to their mistakes, and make things better. I will, of course, give them more chances to do it right, but DO NOT ARGUE with me if I say the food isn't good! It is not my fault! At least they still offer free delivery, which is huge, since other restaurants across the country have a secondary menu for delivery orders, and up their prices by about $2 per item! Hit us where it hurts (in the pocketbook) so eventually no one can afford to order out during this PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS! Then let's see you guys stay in business!
Service was good, speedy and courteous. Food was not! The crab rangoons were not crunchy or hot .....they tasted as If they had been kept in a warmer. We ordered 3 main dishes .... the Orange chicken was over cooked and the other two meals just tasted awful. The only thing good about our meal was the rice and hot tea.
