The food was excellent, and the chef was skilled and humorous. He did put on a "show". I ended up eating about half of the food that was prepared and took the remainder with me for lunch the next day. Only negative was an incident with some other customers who were not happy and one of the staff people who had to deal with them.

This has been our go to place for family dinners for almost ten years. We go about once a month and it was worth the hour drive and half hour wait. Until tonight. I’ll get to that in a minute. We went two weeks ago for my mom’s birthday, food was great, portion size were on par. We ordered sushi and hibachi for six people. No alcohol. $156. Our server was awesome as was the chef, so I left a $30 tip. Tonight, we all order the same things as we did two weeks ago. The steak at the grill was cut up into baby size chunks, really wasn’t pleasant to eat. The portions were small at the grill unlike normal. The waitress left a lot to be desired, she rarely ever came by to refill drinks and when she did she acted like it was the worst to be a server in a restaurant. When the bill came I was blown away. $258!! That’s $100 more than two weeks ago. I read the ticket twice—$50 gratuity automatically added. For a party of six. Uh we didn’t have that two weeks ago as a party of six. And it asked me to add a second gratuity? No thank you. $15 in taxes that wasn’t there two weeks ago either. We were given different menus tonight vs two weeks ago. They must have raised their prices, but that automatic gratuity, no thank you. The hostess should inform people of that beforehand. Sadly, this won’t be the family dinner place if it’s going to cost over $250 for a family of six. $150 sure, I can swallow that. But a $50 automatic gratuity and $200? Not so much.

In the beginning the service was very slow. Once the chef arrived things got back in track. Good food. Fun to watch them prepare for you. Only real disappointment was chairs too low. Almost felt like we were sitting close to floor.

Every time I go I am more than pleased with service, staff, experience. More often than not I go alone or with 1 friend that doesn't mind my crazy self thats addicted to SUSHI! I'm from the PNW and love that this is the one place I can go eat and feel like I am back home. Seaweed is delicious, but I always have to ask for seaweed and not cut cucumbers taking up majority of dish... I'm paying for the seaweed <3Just some photos of the past few visits.

Best dining experience EVER! Fuji's was my birthday gift from my son & his family and the chef treated me like a queen! He was great!! First time in many, many years a group has sang the bday song to me!! They even brought me a cake bite with a candle surrounded with whipped cream and a message in chocolate! A very memorable night indeed! Highly recommend!!

Let me preface that I lived on the East Coast in NY/NJ for 36 years and I've had hibachi countless times and I assumed hibachi around the country was more or less the same. If you're a transplant from the Coasts, you'll likely be disappointed. We only had hibachi so I can only speak to that. Hibachi fried rice usually is cooked with eggs and veggies, like carrots and peas. The rice we were served was completely plain. It wasn't bad, just different than we're used to. The meat (steak and chicken) and veggies were tasty and cooked well. The sauces we were served were not the traditional ginger sauce and hot mustard, it was one little fish of something called Yum Yum Sauce, which tasted kinda like French dressing. Maybe that plays well here. For dessert, we had green tea ice cream. Something tasted off about it, not bad, just not traditional. Plus, sprinkles? No. I also had a pot of hot green tea which is normally freshly brewed with green tea leaves. This was just tea bags in water. Plus we were charged for it, which is unusual.Lastly, if they ask if it's ok if they clean the hibachi grill while you're sitting there, SAY NO!!! They use some kind of cleaning solution in a green bottle that smells like a morgue. And I work in a hospital and I've been in the morgue and I'd rather be there. It's horrible. I said it was ok to clean the grill when asked because I've only ever seen them clean the grill with water, and just water.Anyway, not bad if you go for lunch. Dinner prices were a little on the high side, probably not justifiable, but hey, the place is always busy and I hope they continue their success. Also, please get higher chairs and replace the old, torn wallpaper.

While an excellent experience, food is pretty okay. Great price for the experience!

I love sushi, and though this isn't the best, it's above average for a spot in the Plains. Restaurant has decent ambience in spite of its strip mall location. Our server was great. The only thing that disappointed was the appetizer sampler: everything on it clearly came out of a bag of frozen foods. A house-made gyoza or spring roll says volumes about a place.

Waited for hibachi for 25 minutes. They finally seat us and take our drink and food order. We waited for another hour after being seated. They came and cooked the meal for the hibachi that was seated 20 minutes after our group. The cook finally comes out, tests the grill, says it’s not hot enough and leaves. We talked to the manager and he said he wasn’t sure when our cook was coming back. After an hour and 45 minutes we told them we were leaving. We paid for our 3 beers and left. Won’t go back. Horrible service.

Fuji is always a fun and great time to be had by all. Food is ALWAYS delicious and cooked perfectly. Sexy sauce is delicious!! The hibachi cooks are always fantastic and great cooks. It really is an art what they do and food is their art product. Whether you are visiting or a local do not pass by Fuji without trying them out. You will not be dissapointed!!!! Their sauce is so good that we buy bottles of it after we are done for 6 bucks a bottle. Prices are also not bad at all compared to other hibachi locations in big cities or beach towns.
