Stopped by for lunch, food was great and probably the best pork queso dip I've had in awhile. The building is really cool, it has craftmanship from the original fire building everywhere, along with antiques and nostalgic memorabilia from the original firehouse and are. The had a wide range on the menu to appease everyone's appetite. The drink selection for in house brew was good.
The building and patio are cool, but the food here is overpriced and inedible. I had a rotten salad with gritty soup. The kids chicken nuggets were rock hard. It was over $100 for lunch for 2 adults and 3 kids.PS - the patio is NOT dog friendly. We knew that and left ours at home (no problem), but don’t bring Fido here.
This place was a letdown overall. Not much of a wait to get a table and we were able to eat outside which was nice but the table rocked which was annoying. Food service was glacially slow. I had a czech bohemian lager and it was a letdown the czech hop flavor was not there. The fish tacos looked like they were made in someones house kitchen and were not that great my daughters tartar sauce had an off taste and the fish and chips was not that great either, in fact all the food was rather bland. We were grateful to get a table on July 4th evening but it was disappointing and I would not go back.
I was surprised by the quality of the food — we had fish tacos and salad nicoise, both were excellent. The atmosphere in an old firehouse, decorated with fire department memorabilia, was fun. Helpful waitstaff. Very good lunch choice.
Great food-our daughter enjoyed the Mac and cheese with sausage and we had great burgers! Service in general was good and our server Bella was awesome.
When we checked into our hotel room Tyler front desk clerk asked if we had dinner plans, I said no he high recommend Firehouse Brewing Company. The restaurant is located in the beautiful downtown Main Street in Rapid City. It was busy so we decided to sit at the bar, the food we ordered was delicious, I recommend trying the Stout and Hearty and Fire Caps.
Well advertised for hundreds of miles and with good reason! The meal and beer was very good. Pulled pork sandwich, a couple of burgers and a spicy gumbo “spontaneous heating” were all delish!
I had a spicy dinner and tried 2 different beers. The Irish Red was fabulous, the Brown Ale was tasty.
Atmosphere outside was nice and well done. Great flight selection. The tuna nachos were good. Ashley was our sever and she was great. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.
Great place with lots of history. We had chicken wings and cheese dip and both were excellent. The beer selection was good and very tasty
