Arrived at 6:00 on a Friday, and the place was full but we were still seated immediately. Just good, solid American food. Really enjoyed the pork chop-it’s breaded and fried, and I loved the seasoning. Smoky barbecue ribs were also tasty, and we liked the fresh challah bread. We were too full to try the pies but they looked amazing! Good place to visit after a busy day exploring all the natural wonders near Rapid City!

Stopped by to treat myself to a Pancacke Sandwich for Father's Day. The pancakes were light and fluffy, the bacon nice and crisp but not burnt, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Arrive early because this place is the place to be for breakfast on a Sunday! Plenty of parking around back as there is only one lane out front and closest to the building along with the side is for carryout. Lots of memorabilia adorn the establishment. There's seating on the right and to the left which isalso where the bar is located. Check out the flip tab for some breakfast and lunch/dinner deals which aren't on the menu. Enjoy!

We stopped in for lunch after a morning of sight seeing. The food was delicious and our server, Wendy, was friendly and very helpful. My husband had the Buffalo Gap burger. Very flavorful! I had the Metro Chef salad. Nice selection of greens, and the ham, turkey, and boiled egg were just perfect. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

We were staying right next door at the Sojourn and ate here for dinner upon arrival in Rapid City and appreciated the quiet, the quick service and the very good food! We ordered dinner items for takeout one night later in our stay and had breakfast there one morning as well. Breakfast was REALLY good! Coffee was very good! My son had Belgian Waffle and a side of Bacon - both were excellent, bacon was cooked perfectly! My husband and I shared the Dixie Style breakfast. Every bit was delicious! We wished we had know to order extra sausage links they were so good! Also, when you first walk in you will be presented with an array of bakery cases containing pies, cookies and various other tempting items. One server told us that people come in at 3AM each day to bake all those amazing things. I am a baker and have a high standard when it comes to baked goods you can buy - their cookies were better than Mary's Mountain Cookies (a local cookie place downtown) by FAR. The Apple Crostada was divine. The brownies weren't bad either. Better selection earlier in the day. The lobby is also FULL of freezer and refrigerator cases that are packed with all sorts of things to buy and bake/eat elsewhere - anything from cookie dough to pot pies. It looked like a good variety of things on their menu, made up to be cooked at "home". Summary - GREAT prices for really, really good food and great service. Family owned and it shows - in a good way! Highly recommend!!!

Very good food and service. Portion sizes were good. We were a party of 8 and they got our food out quickly. Will definitely come back here when visiting next time

We went on a Friday morning and were able to be seated in a timely manner. The food was good, but nothing to rave about. I had the Outlaw omelette and was hoping for a bit more in terms of flavor - the chorizo was bland in my opinion and didn't add the flavor I was expecting. The others in my party were okay with their meals. The restaurant was clean. Wait staff did their job but weren't overly friendly or interested in us.To sum it up, decent food and service but nothing that made me go "wow" or want to rush back again.

Ate here after visiting Dinosaur Park. This was the best food we had in three days. The wait staff was very welcoming. The food was great. I had the soup, salad and bread. It was excellent. Friends had the pork chops and the roast beef sandwich. None of were disappointed.

Been here for dinner and breakfast, good place to eat. So many options! Amazing desserts. Had eggs Benedict this morning, it was good (not great, better than okay). Wasn't a huge fan of the ham they used. But, ordered a mimosa and it was huge!

Service and happy hour prices were very good. Husband had quesadillas and he said they were great. I had chicken linguine and it was disappointing. Pasta was fair, chicken was a bit sparse. The Alfredo sauce was runny, almost like soup.

Met a friend there - first time for me. They offered prime rib which I eagerly jumped at. The prime rib was very good as were the sides. I hadn't seen my friend for about a year and we had much to catch up on. The wait staff were polite and attentive and while we took our time with dinner and being later in the evening they weren't packed with customers, they did not push us out by any means. A very enjoyable dinner and visit!
