The tyrants that manage/own this place are forcing the employees to wear masks in 100 degree summer weather 2.5 years after the scamdemic. Shame on you! Won't be buying anymore of their mediocre coffee, ever.
Ice White Night and iced Nutty Irishmen are our favorites. Drive thru is a little tight for bigger trucks but the staff is always pleasant and makes the squeeze worth it.
Zero stars. Awful service. Rude staff. Forgot my drink. Then forgot the flavor. Multiple times. Put sugar into a sugar free for my diabetic wife. This place is trash at high dollars
I’m usually a Caribou Coffee guy. I like sweet, chocolatey coffee. I remember Black Hills blend being really good from when I lived in Rapid City. So I went to BHB on the west side. Ordered a hot mocha and it tasted like watery black coffee. It was the worst coffee I’ve had this entire trip. I almost suspected the teen girls behind the counter of messing up my drink on purpose, that’s how bad it was. Dumped it out and went to Starbucks, which I HATE. That’s how bad it was. If hot mocha is your drink, I would avoid this place. Wish I could give it zero stars.
Love BH Blends. Coffee is very smooth and they have plenty of good locations.
Very well made coffee in a nice little store. Staff were friendly. I got an americano, espresso was well made. Other half got a blended late and it tasted good too, defiantly more coffee centered than other big brands mixed drinks which taste like a cup of sugar. Worth a stop if you are in the area.
I'm a little confused as to why everyone that has reviewed this place says that it's the best coffee in town. Six out of eight times I've been there, My coffee was burned and I had to return to get a refund. The try I ordered was great but the coffee is consistently burned and I don't understand why. And when I went back to ask for a refund the woman working just stared at me like she was looking through my soul as if I had done something wrong when all I wanted was coffee that didn't taste so badly burnt. Black hills blends has just inspired me to just make coffee at home from now on.. not worth the headache.
Great coffee and super service
This is the best place you can buy coffee in Rapid City. Seriously, it's better to come here to a local business vs. going to Starbucks. This is the real deal and real coffee. I usually get a white chocolate smores breve iced. Or peppermint breve iced. Something about this place, I don't think you can go wrong. Nothing I have had here is bad. The people that work here are super friendly as well and great at conversating in the morning. So definitely check this place out they are legit and you won't regret it. Also, don't forget to leave them a tip! These ladies and gentleman are super sweet and work hard. They make the best and strongest coffee in town!
