Great experience. The host was very nice. She took or oders and made sure we were taken care of while dinning. The buffet was ok, the food wasn't as fresh as I would have liked. Although the restaurant was a bit out dated, it took me back to my childhood. It was nice to reminisce.

Shoney's is definitely an American favorite for breakfast.... This place did not disappoint with great hospitality from the host to our server, Tanya... That breakfast buffet is complete with chicken and waffles, y'all... Just stop in if you're anywhere near this location and see for yourself....

Huge shout out to our waitress Carolyn for making my mom this Strawberry pie! They didn’t have one ready. She went above and beyond to help me get one for her. My parents used to come every Sunday and eat the buffet and get a pie. My mom can’t walk anymore and the cancer hurts her to much to come out and eat, so this is the closest I get to giving her those Sundays back. Thank you so much!Love,A loving daughter

I feel like the quality of this restaurant has really went down over the past few years. We visited recently because we were headed to a festival in town and wanted to visit the buffet. We thought a buffet might be a good option because there are some picky eaters in our group. That way if they don't like something they can just get something else. The food was subpar. The eggs were not real and it tasted like warm mush. The bacon was extremely greasy and piled on top of each other in big greasy mounds. Apparently they stopped putting the bacon on the bread which used to help absorb the grease. We also found a hair in the bacon which is never good. I did not eat the grits but according to my family they were pretty good. Other than that many items on the bar were cold and slowly replenished. The chicken tenders were barely edible because they were so cold and hard. The waitress was pleasant and responsive. The salad bar was decent and looked fresh. However several of the dressings were mixed together from sloppy dipping which was not appealing. Overall this was a very poor experience and I did not expect to return to this restaurant.

The worst restaurant ever. The guy maintaining the bar NEVER wore gloves and used his hands kept touching the food. The food was flavorless and old. Our waitresses was extremely friendly but that did not make up for the wasted money of my party of 11. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Food was cold on the bar and it was hard as rock. Service was ok, but I'm not sure if we will be back as the food was less than good. What would DHEC say if they find out about this issue?! Other people said the same thing about the food on the bar. Oh and our table was dirty, however, since we had my handicapped mother in law with us, I didn't want to move her.

Our server was great and thats the only thing I can say about this. We went for Saturday breakfast buffet but most the the bar was barely warm. The grits were almost cold and adding cheese made it worst. The cheese wouldn't even melt. The bacon was cold so it tasted very greasy. I did tell our server but not much could be be done. I am only giving 2 stars because our server was so sweet that she deserves 5 stars but the food was 1 and thats being generous. I know this is not normal for Shoneys so we hope our next visit is better than the last.

I always eat here when I visit my best friend and godson. it reminds me of the classic Shoneys from childhood. You only go there for weekend breakfast and it brings back so many memories. The staff is nice and welcoming.

The store was open for dining, so we decided against buffet, and our waitstaff was great to us. We enjoyed the meal and their in house music was crisp and clear, better than many I couldn't hear well.

I literally drove an hour out of my way to go here since they closed all locations near my home. I am still impressed by their breakfast buffet. The waitress was outstanding and very receptive of our family's needs.
