We once lived around the corner from Rush's WC. We stopped yesterday for a burger. It was mid-afternoon and they were not busy. Our burgers and fries were good. The restaurant was staffed adequately. the staff was pleasant and helpful, the food arrived quickly and was hot, and the rest rooms were clean. But this location is just not what it once was. I can't quantify the feeling that Rush's is different from what I remember. We will of course go back but they need to treat every day like it is their grand opening and they are not doing that.
Rush's is not the same as when they were a one restaurant place on Broad River Rd. Food today is edible but nothing like how delicious it used to be. I miss that Rush's!!
Very clean!Food was great!Outdoor dining available.Only problem we had was the lady that caught an attitude over switching a drink out because she made the "sweet" tea and it was gross.I definitely recommend their chilicheeseburger!
Can't reach anyone. Their phone number goes to an automated voice menu for telephone service. Trying to let them know I purchased a chocolate shake and nearly choked to death. It had chunks of Oreo cookies in it. I was choking so bad that I had to pull off the road. Thankfully I coughed it up, but it took a long time and was very scary. I could have caused a traffic crash.
Awesome as usual!! Very tasty!! No problems at any of the Rushes locations !! Been going ever since I was a kid and my grandparents would always choose Rushes over McDonald’s!! Wish there were a million more Rushes through the state of South Carolina than all of the other fast food restaurants. Will be returning here with more of my friends with my husband very soon!!
I haven't been to a Rush's in years and decided to get something because it was close by. It was okay. I definitely remember it tasting better. The Oreo milkshake was definitely filled with Oreos, but it was too watery to be considered a milkshake. The burger was a nice size, but it needed a little seasoning. I would give this experience a 3.5.
My husband and I have been married for about 4 yrs now. We were happily married with two kids, a boy and a girl. 3 months ago, I started to notice some strange behavior from him and a few weeks later I found out that my husband is seeing someone. Rush's has been a local favorite at Columbia since before I was born and if there's one thing I can say about this spot is that the chicken sandwich is by far the best fast food chicken sandwich I've had. It is hands and feet above the competition. Chick-fil-A's chicken sandwich may be blessed by the Lord but Rush's chicken sandwich was probably made by the Lord. If Adam had seen Eve eating a Rush's chicken sandwich instead of an apple he'd probably not even question it. For real though if you haven't tried it you need to.
Food OK, prices OK, ladies at drive through were a HOOT. Made the experience comical even though they were out of alot of items due to non delivery of a truck, the trip was worth the laugh
This Rush's on sunset has truly gone down hill. The food is never hot fries half cooked and floppy. I have even found big pieces of plastic in my chili cheese burger. All they offered was another one lol no thank you. I miss the good Rush's
