This “Chinese” food is full of sugar. Also we told the staff we had a shellfish allergy and didn’t order anything that would ordinarily be contaminated...but we very quickly found out that the food was contaminated with shellfish and was very sweet even though we ordered spicy dishes. Highly do NOT recommend. This is not good Chinese food and very overpriced compared to others in the area.
I placed an order here over $120.00 dollars. I knew something wasn’t going to be right because my order was ready in less than 15 minutes. I live about 20 minutes away from this location… I got home and discovered three orders were missing. I called them and advise them of this, I explained to them what was missing and after a debate about the order they agreed to make the missing orders. After tasting the food we did have I refused to waste my time and energy driving across town again. The food wasn’t good at all. I will never order from here again.
They used to have the best general tso chicken. Last time I went they said they will no longer make it with the brown (not as sweet as the red) type of sauce. Haven't been beack there since then. No longer recommend them based upon the change in food. I have found other places that make items better and no need to smell the nasty plant across the street.
Some of the best Chinese-American you can find. Always on time. Usually open. Great service. Food is always hot and solid. The steamed dumplings, shrimp roll, Szechaun noodles, cold sesame noodles, and xtra hot garlic sauce are great!
This place has been opened since 1995, and with good reason. Sure it doesn't have the bells and whistles of a 5 star restaurant, but the friendly service and the tasty, hot, freshly prepared food is worth 5 stars. The restaurant is set back inside a shopping center off of Sunset Blvd (378) right before you get to the light to cross over the Gervais Street Bridge.I have had their Crab Rangoon - definitely recommend if you like large, fully stuffed won tons! Their Chicken Wings are not soggy, instead they are crunchy and full of flavor (I suggest trying the Lemon Pepper). Their Sweet and Sour Chicken is fried golden brown and is juicy (not dry and over done). I had them replace my rice with Steamed Broccoli, and it was steamed soft, yet still slightly crunchy. The Sweet and Sour sauce is delicious as well! Tangy, and not watered down. Please give Jin Jin a try if you are in Columbia or West Columbia. Especially if you're a college student, you will love the BIG portion and the affordable price!? Thank you to all the staff at Jin Jin for your friendly service, and for continuously making great food. You all are very much appreciated ? ❤️
The food is delicious, and the portions are very large. Take out only at present time. Located in small strip mall.
Hi, if y'all want some great Chinese food Jin- Jin is nestled in the back by the chicken plant beside the Army Navy store off of Sunset Blvd going towards downtown Columbia. They have a wide assortment of dishes to choose from. The staff is awesome and the temperature of the food is hot along with it not being pricey. Again if anyone is up for great Chinese food I would totally suggest going to Jin- Jin! :)
