I really wanted to like this place. I have to admit, the food was good, and our server was amazing, but I took my senior parents here, and the smell of cigarette smoke permeated the entire place. It really bothered their lungs. We should have left the minute we walked in, but we were hoping the smell was just coming from the clothing of someone who worked there. But we saw people taking cigarettes in and out of one of the back rooms.The smell got into their clothes and we continued to smell the smoke hours after we left.I hope Compton’s will rethink their policies regarding employees smoking IN the building. They may not care, but unfortunately they’ve lost us as customers. We won’t be back.
Amazing homemade food and customer service is TOP TIER
What a wonderful place. It is a cozy little Southern style diner serving up breakfast and lunch. I’ve had the breakfast twice and it was delicious, but the highlight of this place is the service. You are someone here. The place was buzzing and full, yet every person that walked in the door is acknowledge and served. This place is no frills and doesn’t need to be, but in a world full of half-hearted servers, these ladies hustle and make you feel appreciated. I can’t wait to try lunch!
Genuine, kind, beautiful people work here. Food is classic. Locally sourced. Thoughtfully made. It feels like family even my first time being there. It’s a community place. I loved it and I will absolutely be back. Often. Thank you every one of you for the experience :)!

Excellent bacon and eggs old school diner. Greeted and seated immediately by masked friendly staff. Clean and neat. Ordered and served quickly. Had a generous breakfast with bottomless coffee for under $15. Wow. I'll go again.
The food was excellent. Service was great. We just stopped through on our way to the airport. This place is a lovely local restaurant.
