This is the Best place for Breakfast in Columbia SC.Shrimp and Grits tasted Excellent!Service was Outstanding!I will 100% recommend this place to everyone!Picture of Shrimp and Grits was taken after I mixed it together. It came out looking Amazing! Tasted even better!

I absolutely adore small spots for a good breakfast. I read reviews before coming and all were so good that I was convinced I needed to try. I was not disappointed!! The salmon and grits with a side cinnamon pancake was heavenly! I knew it was a good sign when I walked in and saw it was crowded even for a Friday morning! I can imagine weekends probably can’t even get in the place lol.

Excellent food and a good experience. I've been dying for diner food for two years but the pandemic made that pretty hard, but having an outdoor porch meant that I could enjoy the food without the worry. The place was busy, which meant a wait but also meant it was popular! I enjoyed my food (breakfast burrito) and it didn't take long to come out. They have a self serve coffee station. The one downside is parking is pretty terrible, but it was still a nice time!

So I had some time to kill and looked up breakfast spots that was near me. And this was the one I leaned toward. It had good reviews and a decent amount. So when I pulled up. I noticed it. I had driven past it quite a few times. Not alot of parking. And take out orders are suppose to be done online only. Which was a bit of a bummer. But they ket me sit in the store and order mine on my phone. It was packed when I went in. Which is always a good sign. The food took about 25 min. They even sent a text message telling me my order was ready. The food was pretty good. I didn't get anything special. Just pancakes eggs and shrimp. But the pancakes were huge. And I got 2ic shrimp and grits. And she liked it. It had to be good she ate it all. The online ordering I wasn't a fan if. But I think sit in is or would be a better experience. I definently reccomend this spot. For breakfast.

The homemade croissants and coffee bar is what got me in. What I didn't expect was getting a restaurant quality steak at a Cafe. It was the best steak I have eaten, better than in any steakhouse. Cooked perfectly, tender, melt in your mouth. The sour dough bread, croissants, all are top notch. You don't even need butter. The coffee bar is fun. You get to pick your own mug and fill it with as much coffee as you want. Their coffee is really good and in fact you can purchase it if you really enjoy it. It is always packed so plan on waiting a little. This place isn't really handicap ready and no strollers will fit either. It is inside an old building which make for a wonderful atmosphere but also some hurdles. Certainly a must try.

Well, as you can see our crew thought everything was really great. We tried the shrimp and grits, bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on sourdough bread, the French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon, and a side order of sourdough bread with strawberry jelly. Forgot the take the before pictures but as you can tell everything was wiped pretty clean except for our one picky eater. Prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly!

Great breakfast & or brunch spot. Parking is limited and inside spacing is tight. Food is very good and price is affordable. Gave a 4/5 due to our table was a little rocky and we had to adjust our drinks the entire time &...they didn't have any straws for their togo cups... Other than that the experience was good.

Came across this restaurant in a pinch to find somewhere to eat breakfast. The food was great!!!! I loved the fact that you can get the coffee yourself. That was so cool!!!Our food was delicious and my other half loved the ambiance ?. Nothing beats great food and music to listen to.Our Server, Jaimie G was on point and super kind and accommodating. Please go to Cafe Strudel, you will not be disappointed.

First our server "Amanda A" was not friendly at all was dry and kind of passive we asked for straws and was told there weren't any straws like what restaurant doesn't have straws especially with covid and everything going on,then the table next to us had straws in the drink and when asked about that we were told dismissively by our server Amanda"that the server at that table brought her own, straws to work",yeah ok. I thought this place was good because of the reviews the food was mediocre especially for the price, the turkey sausage tasted like something out of the frozen food microwave section, I don't mind paying whatever for good food and good service but was really dissatisfied. And the restaurant felt a little dirty...

The food was great! This place is very crowded and usually has a waiting time of 45min to an hour on the weekends. Their Hangover Hash browns are a must try! I am a vegetarian and so ordered Turkey Avo Panini without Turkey along with sauteed vegetables. It was very tasty and a filling meal.
