I'm a delivery driver and I went in to pick up an order. I was ignored over and over for 10 minutes, someone finally came over to ask me what I wanted. Two of the workers that were cooking were eating fries out of orders that were being prepared. Over and over I kept asking someone for help and they acted absolutely disgusted that I was even speaking to them. When someone finally decided to help me, they asked me who the order was for, so I told them. They looked at their screen looked at me and then walked away. I stood there for another 10 minutes hoping that they were fixing my delivery order...nope! I asked one more time if they had my order, they got an attitude started rolling their eyes and said NO we do not have it. This is why myself and other delivery drivers never want to accept an order from there.
I have ordered breakfast items four times in the last 3 weeks. Each time they are out of something. One day they're out of biscuits. Another day they don't have any eggs. I ordered biscuits that should have three items inside them and one of the components of the missing.The order takers do not listen when someone is placing an order. I've had to repeat my order sometimes three times before they got it right. The people working at the window need to be retrained or reassigned.
Quickly going down hill, couldn't get order right even though it was repeated back and forth a few times was really looking forward to the new hot honey chicken sandwhich but NOPE lack luster, missing most of the toppings and let down! Couldn't even get extra bacon on the baconator!
Writing this as I'm in the drive through getting my food...8 cars ahead of me (2 left the line) and it's been 40 minutes. Has to be the slowest service drive through I have ever experienced. 3rd time here, likely never come back unless there is no line. Food is fine, but not worth this long of a wait...longer than sitting down at a restaurant.
I give this place a 9/10! I normally go to the Sumter Wendy's and they are complete trash over their but this Wendy's here in Columbia is GREAT! I got my food in less then 5 mins from when I ordered! It takes Sumter 45-90min to get you your food?.
SOOOO SLOW stuck in the drive thru for literally 30 minutes. Like this every time I come here and I'm not usually one to complain when it comes to fast food cuz I've been there and work that but this is just ridiculous.
Worst service ever. Cashier pants were down and his underwear showing. He scratches his hair and then bags orders. Only helps one customer at a time, no matter how long their order takes. Nuggets were hard and old. Hope you have silverware to eat your salads with because he gives you none. Slow service. Unfriendly employees.
Literally THE slowest drive-thru in the city of Sumter. Especially after dark. I'm not sure if they just don't care, or if it's really that difficult to make what's on their menu. You will literally wait up to 5 minutes just to have your order taken at the speaker. If there's more than 2 cars in line, go somewhere else. You'll be waiting at LEAST 45 minutes. Inside isn't much better. They will straight up ignore you to your face, and if you order takeout, everything will be stuffed into one bag. You're lucky if you get a drink holder. The attitude you get from the staff is probably the worst thing besides the wait. If you want Wendy's, go to Lafayette.
If I could give it a zero, I would. Every time we come here, the service has been so unfriendly. Everyone acts like they hate their jobs, which doesn't make us want to eat the food that they are preparing. We asked each worker that we interacted with, how their day was going and they acknowledged us but did not answer or even smile. Before we left, we checked the food and my sons milk was already opened, so we asked them to please give us a new one. They said nothing and just took it (they did give us a new one), and then we kindly wished them a Merry Christmas (to which we still did not even get a smile). I get that it's the holidays and maybe your job isn't the most enjoyable, but this has been the service we have received every single time we've ever been to this location. We love Wendy's as a whole, but this location definitely doesn't meet the normal standards as far as customer to worker interaction goes.
Service sucked there was none waited for almost 20 mins for food and then they got it all wrong ordered an Asiago chicken club and bourbon bacon and got a sad sad excuse for a burger had one piece of bacon and cheese and a patty nothing else no sauce and chicken was just a plain flipping chicken sandwich. The only thing they got right was taking our money
